Grew up in Willowdale. Not much left of what I remember. Bayview Village Mall was the Bayview Jnr High hangout. Wasn’t a covered mall we still hung out in winter in the middle of the mall on cold benches. Those little homes looked the same. Willowdale Ave had a huge lumber yard lots of building projects came out of that place! Can not believe that little strip plaza is still across the road from Rona. Thanks for the tour!!
GM. I used to deliver the mail around willowdale. It looked a lot different then. Where you start was willowdale station 3 and where you are going is willowdale B the station used to be on the south side of Sheppard just after bayview village mall.
What has been quite interesting is the condo growth even further east along Sheppard past the 404. Lot's of new and upcoming buldings that have to be close to 25+ floors.
