I agree that the burden of fault is on CC but like all goals conceded that others could and should have done better. If it was a Brackley player that knicked the ball and shot from that position the balance of blame would have shifted onto CA. But its a goal conceded thats the nature of the game, imho we have conceded worse goals this season with Ben or Addai in goal.
Totally agree. Connelly for me didn't look up and it was a poor poor pass back. Addai then didn't have enough tome to stop it. It won't do anything for Addai confidence though
Law 12 Section 2 indeed prevents the keeper from picking it up if it is passed to him from his own player. I just wondered if there was anything that allowed the ball to be picked up in a cucumstance like we were in ... but no, Addai would have had to have cleared it with his feet .. so you are 100% correct Dave!!
I would imagine that the speculation about the Icelandic striker is all but confirmed. I think it is done and dusted but not announced. County keep things close to their chest these days, but all over the icelandic social media at the moment so l would expect an announcement sometime after Christmas if not before.
Leeds u21 have some players coming off contract this summer. And they all know & respect teammate Lewis Bate. Perhaps DC might snare another from Elland Road.
