I loved “Rise of Bangtan” but just a friendly warning…it’s about 22 episodes(not a movie) but it’s so worth it!!!

this is hands down THE BEST intro series/video-collection of BTS and ive seen handful of them.
Being an ARMY since 2014 I can say without a doubt this shows you so well exactly what was going on at the time and packages their journey so well into all these episodes and bonus content and deleted scenes. I also LOVE that there's history and background on some kpop and korean history in this series because that's really important to understand everything that they've gone through and why. SO EXCITED TO SEE YOU GUYS WATCH THIS!!!

I'm really excited for this, but moreover, soooo THANKFUL because this will reach a lot more people - baby Armys who haven't watched this, or even non-Armys, and that's all I ever wanted. i think it's fine if it is like they said that it will upload on YT later, and maybe it's better because some chapters after the 10 i think had copyright (some reactors had say so) and some upload it but mute the parts of the songs to avoid it.
This makes me so so happy. Finally, genuine people who try to understand, with an open mind, and with a genuinely interest for BTS. I admire you guys also because of your mindset, dedication to these videos and because of your kind personality. And to finally find a reactor to BTS who are being genuine about them and so willing to know more and not just because of views makes me so glad. I recently watched this series while traveling. Sure helped 3 hour flights go fast. It is amazing. There are two final episodes in production that the creator will drop when they are both finished.
Yaaay, you will learn a lot 🥰 just one thing about the first episodes, it shows the difference between other groups and BTS. other companies and bighit. It might be confusing for some

every episode has additional videos to go along with it - deleted scenes and extra content (except for the first and second episode i believe, they only have deleted scenes). also, in the first episode, the creator shows the differences between bts and kpop by showing back to back clips and the different ways and rules they've been trained on and worked as rookies so keep that in mind.
As Suga said in Louder Than Bombs, “if not us then who will do it?” BTS is the standard

Yes finally it's coming. I'm so excited. Just one thing when the members talked about their age you need to take one or two years off. In Korea people are 1 year old at birth and turn another year older on Jan 1. So for example V's birthday is Dec 30 so he was 2 years old on Jan 1st when actually he was only 2 days old. So in the early chapters a lot of the Vlogs were done in June so other than Suga and JHope you can take two yrs off the age the other 5 mbrs said. When BTS debuted in June 2013 both Jin and Suga was 20. JHope was 19, RM was 18, Jimin and V were both 17 and Jungkook was only 15 yrs old. Knowing how young they were makes everything more impressive.

This series is amazing. I'm about 10 episodes in, watching it with my tween daughters and loving every moment. It's not always easy to watch-- some of the things those men have had to deal with, damn. It makes me feel all the more what a gift they have given to the world, paid for by their blood, sweat, and tears.

I will say as a fan of kpop and a fan of BTS since 2015 this docu series really is one of the best things I have seen compiled together that really explains the workings of the kpop industry and how things were started and became what it is today.
Not to mention all the hard work of the editor put into this and how it took them YEARS to gather all these clips and put them together. I would highly recommend this series to anyone whether they're already into BTS/kpop, just getting into kpop, or even if they have no interest in kpop and just want something to watch and learn about. The subtitles do move fast as there is a lot of switching between languages but please take your time with understanding and viewing these, all of your questions will most likely be answered as you keep watching.
This is I think the best docu series I’ve ever seen. Not just fan made, I mean ever. It’s brilliant story telling and editing better than Netflix has. The story telling is riveting and worth it. Can’t wait!

I have to say I really appreciate the time you take to actually research and analyze the information.
Idk why I like to see people going through the journey of discovering BTS, maybe because I met them in 2020 during the pandemic and I was alone and several times I thought this was fucking amazing and life-changing and I had no one to share it with.
BTS added a lot of happiness to my life, I have several new friends but especially I overcome the prejudging I had over kpop, asian culture, and patriarchal stereotypes, especially in Latin culture. I am 28 years old and, as many, used to think this was for teenagers. The way this opened up my head will make me be grateful forever to them.
There is a saying among Army's that BTS comes into your life at the moment you most need them, and I believe this is completely true.
To add to your analysis, it's good to see the lyrics distribution videos after you know a new song because it will help you to understand who is who, which is difficult at first. Also, when you watch a music video, sometimes it's good to catch a good anaylisis video too because there is a lot of hidden messages and links to artist and thinkers that will blow your mind.
There is SO MUCH content to see and it can get a bit overwhelming, especially with the level of dedication you do. But step by step, you will get it.
This fandom will receive you with open arms!!
This documentary deserves an award. Kudos to Aneesa and her team. She and her documentary will remain as a legend among us.
