I actually do agree with your opinion. While being yourself is right and okay, there are some situations that you adapt to and have common sense on. Sure, they're children and lived in a village so they don't know anything about royalty. But manners are taught in everyday life. Amber does make more sense when she said "Do something about your friends" insinuating that Sofia's friends are crossing a certain line. They knocked over that gosh darn chocolate tower for God's sake and they're not even reflecting their actions throughout the day Questions can be asked without being annoying. But at that point they're very overbearing. While letting loose is fine, but there are always boundaries. I would be mad too if someone spilled chocolate on a _WHITE_ dress. It's so annoying that they get to get away for pulling stuff like that and THEY BARELY APOLOGIZE. Sofia lives in a palace and became a princess, yes. Her class is higher than both of them, yes. But she still treats you as friends regardless of status and power. But they were really noisy, messy, and overbearing. Now i may be too dramatic over a kids show that was plenty years old, but i have a problem about the writing and friendship that they portrayed in this episode. Why was Sofia's the one to apologise when clearly she has given them a place to sleep, dresses and tiaras, being considerate for her friends, and yet-- Ugh.
Amber is literally a spoiled brat at best who is very selfish. If we get into the deep part of this, she's classist as well. Sophia's friends don't know how to behave in a castle because they've never gotten to be in one.

@@sian186 Cedric is my favorite. The characters had good character growth. The show was weird but I am honestly shocked with how good the character growth was. Amber and Cleo changed A LOT and so did Hildagard. Amber stood out the most to me. Watch her in the first and last season and WOW. She really did change.

At first you'll have a bad impression of her, because she makes everything hard on sofia well just saying thou, that's that is the typical reaction of SOME people when they meet their stepsister, and beside she grow up being dependent. While being yourself is right and okay, there are some situations that you adapt to and have common sense on.
Sure, they're children and lived in a village so they don't know anything about royalty. But manners are taught in everyday life.
Amber does make more sense when she said "Do something about your friends" insinuating that Sofia's friends are crossing a certain line.
They knocked over that gosh darn chocolate tower for God's sake and they're not even reflecting their actions throughout the day
Questions can be asked without being annoying. But at that point they're very overbearing. While letting loose is fine, but there are always boundaries.
I would be mad too if someone spilled chocolate on a _WHITE_ dress. It's so annoying that they get to get away for pulling stuff like that and THEY BARELY APOLOGIZE.
Sofia lives in a palace and became a princess, yes. Her class is higher than both of them, yes. But she still treats you as friends regardless of status and power.
But they were really noisy, messy, and overbearing. Now i may be too dramatic over a kids show that was plenty years old, but i have a problem about the writing and friendship that they portrayed in this episode.
Why was Sofia's the one to apologise when clearly she has given them a place to sleep, dresses and tiaras, being considerate for her friends, and yet--

Amber and Cleo changed A LOT and so did Hildagard. Amber stood out the most to me. Watch her in the first and last season and WOW. She really did change.
