  • Allah says in the Quran in Surah Ibrahim verse 7 “If you are grateful, I will certainly give you more. But if you are ungrateful, surely My punishment is severe.”
Here are 3 benefits of expressing Sincere Gratitude to Allah:
    1. You’ll become closer to Allah!
    2. You’ll automatically feel better!
    3. Allah will reward you with more!

To be truly grateful is to truly internalize sincerity in the heart for Allah sake(the one you love more than anything)

      Virtue of reciting this du’a:
Whoever recites this du’a in the morning [or evening] has fulfilled the shukr [gratitude] to Allah Ta’ala for that day/night.
      Arabic text:
اللهم ما أصبح بي من نعمة أو بأحد من خلقك فمنك وحدك لا شريك لك فلك الحمد ولك الشكر
Allahumma ma asbaha bi min ni’matin aw bi ahadim min khalqika fa minka wahdaka la sharika laka fa lakal hamdu wa lakash shukru
      Note:
When reciting this du’a in the evening, one should say ‘أمسى’ [amsa] instead of ‘أصبح [asbaha]’.
      (Sharh Ibn Raslan, Hadith: 5073)
      And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
