      Wrong quote, wrong fight.
      - "Those were 500 Dollar sunglasses, asshole!"
      and then
      - "This is where you fall down."
But the fight with this song is Sonya vs Kano.

@@hjm9571 The main guy who writes most of the songs thinks it didn't fit the album. It is literally the best song on this album, and the other tracks are ALL amazing. Despite Juke Joint Jezebel being their most well known song (since it appeared on the Mortal Kombat movie soundtrack), and one that gives them a shitload of royalties, they wont play it live and it's not included on their greatest hits compilation.

I just realised they usd KMFDM in both the Street Fighter 2 Animated Movie and in Mortal Kombat. In SF2 the song they used was 'Ultra' and in MK they used 'Juke Joint Jezebel'. What's extra cool though is that those two songs are side by side on the album :D

I can't reject this empty hole
I cannot count the bloody cost
I can't believe this wretched soul
    Come penetrate all this loss
Come on and kill this sense of life
And be the one who is denied
Now show me one more upturned knife
    And fill the emptiness inside
    Be mine, sister salvation
Juke joint Jezebel is coming for my cremation
    Be mine, sister salvation
    Closer now, see the revelation
If I could leave my burning skin
That has been been used up in your sin
Is there a tiny part of me
    Untouched, unsoiled by misery?
    Be mine, sister salvation
Juke joint Jezebel is coming for my cremation
    Be mine, sister salvation
    Closer now, see the revelation

Then across the street this guy in dreads who also crashed there overnight came over with a big smile and said he couldn't believe he wakes up outside to hear that song he liked jamming out.. he ended up smoking me out and sharing a little of his story before we parted ways..
Though that time in my life is over and I have no wish or reason to return to it.. I did have wonky experiences to reflect on from time to time..

Just to clear out the doubts or missinfos about the name KMFDM:
It is "no pity for the masses" (Kein Mitleid Für Die Mehrheit), just turned around on purpose to "no masses for the pity" (Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid) :) In english you have "the", it's same male, female and neutral. In German we have pronouns and wordendings for each gender, so "Kein" is the "no-with-neutral-ending" for pity (neutral) and "Die" ist the pronoun for masses (female). In german it's even better XD, I love this kind of wordplay/humour/irony

    • @artsycat2883
      @artsycat2883 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@@jcdenton9409 it is just a simple wordplay by switching "Mitleid" and "Mehrheit". It still does make sense in German, though it is grammatically incorrect. But this just makes it so funny. I guess for non german speaking folks it just doesnt make sense... Its not serious, cause its a joke, kinda like a slight hit with the elbow and a socially critic wink 😘

@@jcdenton9409 You dont understand, what I mean... I didnt know about the origins, but thats anyways not, what my point is. The fact, that the phrase came up through newspaper cut-outs does not make it random. It was a coincidence. A funny one, cause it makes sense as a wordplay. So they kept it. Random words would not make sense in this way...
With my original post I just wanted to express my appreciation for the wordplay and explain to anyone whos interested what it means 😊✌️
      Wiki says:
KMFDM is an initialism for the nonsensical and grammatically incorrect German phrase Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid, which, keeping the same word order, literally translates as "no majority for the pity", but is typically given the loose translation of "no pity for the majority".[2][5][6][7] In the original phrase, the articles preceding the nouns Mehrheit and Mitleid are inflected for the wrong gender, as the proper declension would be Keine Mehrheit für das Mitleid. Swapping the two nouns yields the grammatically correct Kein Mitleid für die Mehrheit, which translates directly as "no pity for the majority".
