The smallest little Chiquahua puppy u have ever seen was sitting in his top pocket! Lovely scenario: this real huge guy with this tiny puppy that he obviously adored!
Tell me about it! I live with my partner and two sons 25 and 20. I was the only one wanting a little dog and they constantly went against me. I finally get a baby chihuahua( yep, I always get what I want eventually!). Anyway, I'm 4th on her list, and I have 3 men who can't pass her without a cuddle and kiss. They melt as soon as they see her, especially daddy! I still think she's the best thing we've ever done! 😍😍😍😍💜💖💜💖

The description tells a lot, and this puppy is too young to be taken from the mother; will miss out on good nourishment as well as behavioral lessons. All you have to do is check out their other videos with Mojo(other dog) and Mylee. Love is not all dogs need. If the dog was there due to a major circumstance that required it to be there, that would have been a story worth telling.
MrTachyon...How can you be so judgmental and critical without knowing ANY of Miley's circumstances...I foster animals while they're waiting to be adopted, or recovering from surgery/medical issues...My last fostered dog was a frail, TINY, little Chihuahua pup rescued from a DEPLORABLE Amish puppy mill in Ohio...He slept in bed right next to me EVERY single night for 7 1/2 weeks so I could monitor him (feeds & medication) & help him feel safe...He slept on a soft little pillow with a heating pad (on low) wrapped up inside his pillow...He's now a *big* happy/healthy, whopping "5-pounder" adopted by an older couple with young grandchildren who simply *ADORE* him..He's sure one lucky & sweet little guy.You never know the circumstances that could bring a young animal into foster care/a new home...

We bred pugs in the early 2000s and I wouldn't let them go until at least 8 weeks. And that was the big fat boss pups of the litter.. We would keep smaller pups until 12 weeks. He is likely crying because he is not quite weaned yet. The pup will survive, but health can be compromised and vital socialization with litter mates and mother is lost.
I think it's so adorable seeing this big strong man being so cute and gentle with her. 5 weeks is a bit too young to be away from it's mother but maybe they just had her home for a little bit to help eith the transfer away from her mother. You never know what the circumstances may be, all the negativity is not necessary!!
I AM A BREEDER and my pups stay with mom for up to 14/16 weeks. It is not OK to separate pups even from there siblings because they never learn the lessons to become a stable dog.People who are against breeders on the whole don't really know who a responsible breeder is. My pups are my children and everyone is lovingly raised and placed into loving families with a contract to return them if a situation comes up that a new home is needed.
This makes me remember my baby chihuahua we found her in winter season in a box outside of Walmart with other 3 puppies they were just crying and were cold we had to give the other 3 away but we kept one she sadly passed away since she had a condition we're her skull wasn't closing properly from the top and she kept having seizures we tried getting help but the veterinarian told us if she did live she would always have seizures and carry that burden she passed away at night in my harms because I picked her up since she was crying and having a seizure I miss her and I wished she could've met us more but regardless she was always loved and had fun with us while she was here so sad someone just threw them outside of Walmart

I remember I had my puppy at 5-6 weeks old. I had formula for it and everything because the mother was killed by a very toxic neighbor. So me and a friend of mine took the brother and sister, reported it to the ASPC and they allowed us to take the brother and sister. It was hard work, but 3 years now, they both are happy with us and living their best life. It just takes time and dedication to raise them at that tender age, but its well worth it in the overall journey!
Beth Meyers - Yes 8 weeks. You wouldn’t believe it but the Guide Dog Society gave us a dog to train for a blind person. The dog is in our care permanently now. Sadly, he is sick and one of the reasons we discovered is because they gave him to us at 5 weeks old. We are thinking of suing because according to the Vet, he also displays behaviour puppies do with their mum and in normal circumstances grow out of after 8 weeks, but ours hasn’t. When we contacted the Guide Dog Society they said, they were in a rush to get the dog to a blind woman. At the dogs expense might I add. It is heart breaking. These people in the video are likely to experience the same sense of neediness and abandonment our beautiful dog suffers and more. I really hope the mummy is playing outside in their backyard.
Abi Nor-Mac bit rough with the poor little thing thought. And clearly not with its mum. Doesn’t matter what age you take a dog, they will always feel abandoned and have separation anxiety.... just like we would of it happened to us. 8 weeks, 8 months or 8 years, they’ve been taken from their mum and will never get over it

I definitely agree with you, a puppy that small still needs to be around the mother to get her milk for health and growth and development and strong bones and muscles, but that is if the mother is still around and still alive, because if she isn't the human beings have to take the mother's place and take care of the baby pup themselves

12 weeks old is the ideal time to adopt out the pups. The extra 4 weeks allows the pups to socialize with their litter mates.

I definitely agree with you, a puppy that small still needs to be around the mother to get her milk for health and growth and development and strong bones and muscles, but that is if the mother is still around and still alive, because if she isn't the human beings have to take the mother's place and take care of the baby pup themselves
