The bad part is the ppl are the ones at fault, not the animals. It's too bad because when someone gets hurt, they blame it on the wild animals. Hopefully y'all get to feeling better soon. 🙂👍

Thank you for posting this. People don't understand the harm they do the wildlife. I go the the parks all the time and it infuriates me how people treat the wildlife. Bread makes ducks sick, fried chicken isn't good for any animal. People scaring creatures on purpose, you see it too often.
The wild life just needs to be left alone.
@@DestinationOpenRoad I worked years ago at Independence hall at Knotts Berry Farm and we were forever chasing people off that were chasing the birds although some those birds can take care there self, lol but I do understand what you are saying. I am sure you have seen wildlife only some of us only dream of. Keep it up guys!
PARKS like Yellowstone need to do more to inform people who don't know any better that the Buffalo and elk are wild animals, not pets. Maybe even start imposing a fine to save lives.
I used to have ducks. There should be signs at all public parks with ducks and geese that bread kills waterfowl. It's a slow painful death that takes about a year. They can live to about 9 years naturally. My understanding is that it bloats their organs until they burst or fail. If people want to feed ducks feed stores and Tractor Supply sell duck pellets. I buy I think a 2 lb. Bag for $6. It's a treat for ducks. NOT CHICKEN FEED WHICH HAS ANTI-BIOTICS, ALSO DANGEROUS FOR DUCKS.

Probably the worse time to try to enter act with wild animals is during spring time with new babies around and during mating season when territory is being established amongst the males. IF anyone ever got kicked by a tame donkey or a mule, or a horse they would NOT attempt to being friendly with a wild donkey..They do kick just as hard ! Get well soon, and THANK YOU for sharing.

Hi Terry and Scott, I feel so sad of what those donkeys go through with some uneducated humans. It’s a wonder that the donkeys don’t learn to hate all humans. It only takes a few bad apples per day to ruin it for others to be able to be able to see the donkeys in their natural habitat.good catch of all those Crawdads!!! So sorry that you both are under the weather. I had the same thing going on with me being sick a few weeks ago, it came out of no where! Take care and will catch you on your next video 😊💜👍

I hope you both have a speedy recovery, sounds like the croup that has been going around. Its rough. I love scotty's "two brown trout ditty" you guys crack me up. I was. Born in the Utah desert in Moab and we had a wild donkey that hung around our house and shop, we used to feed him pancakes after breakfast, he lived a long life. But wild life should be left alone. I know I'm late posting ,but Scott did make me laugh at the end of the video with his brown trout song😂😂😂😂. I quite often drive through the New Forest in the UK as we live next to the forest, but I would never feed the animals and never get out of the car to pet them. They will come over to our car for curiosity but thats it. We stroke them and their babies, we call the baby donkey's Dinky's and when they've had enough they stroll on their way, same with the horses and their foals. It's wonderful but you have to respect them. Great Video. I hope you and Scott feel better soon. Hugs UK

We just got back from a cruise to Grand Turk Islands and the donkeys were having explicit situations there also😂😂😂

I have a tip for you on shrimp and crawdads. Put them live into a bucket with milk. That way they will flush out their intestines before you boil and eat them.

If you get those symptoms again, get to a doctor or walk-in clinic. That first couple of days of a horribly sore throat is a symptom of one strain of the disease that brought us the Pandemic. There's also some other respiratory illness that has that beginning. Everyone I've known with either needed meds to totally kick it. Glad you've feeling better. You did have a really interesting place to be ill. And yes, people are crazy in how they deal with wildlife!!

So so happy you're on the bandwagon about feeding the wildlife -- people just don't consider the results of their actions. They don't realize they are actually training these animals to be bullies. Those donkeys *need* to keep their wariness of people, because the furry little guys will then they pay the consequences for it. Good job! :)

It’s been so long since I’ve had a cold that sounds like a cold to me when your throat raw and don’t you love it when you just get out of the shower after peeing in the shower and then will we pee in the shower here in Florida and then you get out and you dry yourself off and then you cough and then you pee yourself again so you’re back in the shower. I hate being sick. God love y’all. I know it’s been a while and y’all are doing good. Sounds like a regular old cold. Oh Lord, I hope to see y’all on the road because you guys are just marvelous true down to earth humans and thank you for talking about those poor burrows. They are wild animals and people with dogs should not let them do that cause they could get kicked in the head. Been there seen it and that’s rude. All right love y’all.😂❤😊

A suggestion: it's spring with lots of allergens in the wind. MAYBE allergy medicine and a dust mask places that have a large count or wind, for awhile. Love the donkeys, noticed the "expert" with a bit of hypocrisy there.
I think the dust and dirt got us.

I am a little late on this video, work has been crazy this week. Love your video's, been watching for years. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. I have a question, in the video where scotty is out catching his crawdad's, was there someone else out there close to him, I was watching and noticed a black square looking shape on the right side of the video, I was wondering what it was when it moved what looked like it's head looking toward scotty, then it started walking straight towards the water, it was so weird looking because it stayed a black color the whole time the sun light didn't show any facial features or change the color of clothing nope just a creepy black shape. I am sure your laughing but it was kinda creepy looking. Well glad your both feeling better safe travels.

I love the symbol of the cross on the back of donkeys. It was the donkey that Jesus chose to ride into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. It makes you cry when think about it.

It is so ridiculous how stupid grown adults can be around wild life.

We have 4 donkeys that we have as pets on our 15 acres and I have seen the male and female disembowel 2coyotes that came after the donkeys baby and have lost count of the coyotes that have died on our property from getting kicked in the head by them!!! TAME DONKEYS are vicious a/f with coyotes WILD DONKEYS ARE 500x worse
