This is kinda interesting because in my Modern Africa class we have been discussing when the Germans had colonized Namibia and the atrocities that were done to the Herero people. That’s why in the beginning when she was discussing about vacationing in Namibia I wondered to myself why Namibia. But even today a large majority of tourists are German and there is a small population of German families from the colonized days who own over half of the land which was the Herero peoples. Just food for thought when you think about people and connection's.
