@@Gfromda23 Yeah, it's like putting Z Bardock as a costume for DBS Bardock, it's just weird because Z Bardock is obviously the superior version. I hope they don't make him a costume because in Fighterz, Z Trunks is the main model but he is basically the two Trunks at the same time (he's second color is a reference to his DBS version) because he has special quotes and dramatic finish with Black and Zamasu. It's seems unlikely because in the website the DBS Trunks is simply called ''Future Trunks''. But they can always do it like that :

We may wind up seeing some forms given models but more used as intro animations ala dokkan than playable characters, so maybe when you pick Ribriane she has opening dialogue as Briane that ends with her transforming so when you actually play her she can just go to giant form
Not a fan of only final forms of characters as playable and it's not in the spirit of tenkaichi at all. Give me all the forms or not at all and just sell them as dlc.

thats a nice roaster but i still think that transformations are just highlights like in bt3 where you click on goku and it shows you the transformations also in raging blast 1 and 2 when you click on goku it shows you the transformations i think its like that so there gonna be more room for characters

Your list is pretty good up until you had those slots left for OG dragonball, GT and movies... but from there on I think you are wrong in thinking they will include just a few characters from each of those, I believe since we are getting confirmed DLC in the future that they will focus only on one... maybe only Z movies and some other Z or Super characters to fill the roster and then in the future we will have a big OG dragonball DLC and GT DLC.. or maybe they will go for GT or maybe for Dragonball OG, and others will be DLC later, I believe.
I hope they put pan in this game when they say everyone I really want everyone to that’s what , name in the drag era as well to make , / Making it more interesting to and have some different and difficult 😞 mission, to as well and I hope they add some side types of mission for content and the community to come together and have fun , playing oh maybe they can maybe make three long veryents of story with some time line miss haps to come with some smooth gameplay on the side maybe add more parts where they have to save a Area like desalinate waste lands maybe some bad guy I don’t know if that’s asking a bit to much in the game but I know the game is going to fire 🔥 let’s hope for the best and get great content out of it to make it last a very long story and time play through our long childhood.

Tbh i dont think they are gonna add the non canon dbz movie char in the base roster, they could add a few of them as dlc and the rest for the sequels of the game
Honestly, SSJ 2 Kefla is most important than SSJ 2 Cabba, i mean, she had longer and important fights than him.
Also i think we won't have Vegetto (súper) in base form, and being honest, I'm not sure that they are putting just final forms, probably every single movie characters will not be on the game, maybe that spaces will be ocupated for more TOP characters and Z Future Trunks, or maybe they will include every GT character that we had in Tenkaichi 3 (maybe Uub as DLC, like it happens in XenoVerse 2).

If they didn't put the transformations in the separate slots for this roster tease, you could've used other characters you are thinking of. I doubt the transformations will take up slots since BT3 didn't take up any as it was just a sub menu for them. So there could be more characters people want

Okay, but clearly THIS grid is for characters AND their transformations. The amount of squares that we counted is a number of characters + forms. (Also, I don't understand what it even means "they didn't take any, it was just a sub menu" - sub menu is just visual representation of the slots) So - unless there are more grids they will reveal later, the base game will feature as many forms as there are squares
@@RancorSnp yeah it will. Just thin like bt3 when they say sub menu. When you click on goku end. Another sub menu pops up and u see all his forms. But every single form and transformation counts in this game

How come there’s multiple base versions of people? Do they transform mid battle? Can u start as a transformation?
In past games yes you could start off already transformed. So I used to use super vegito, SSJ3 Gotenks, Majin Vegeta, ect. Multiple base are from different series such as Z vs Super (which I believe many of them will be combined into one so like one "Tien").

Honestly I think that if any characters are gonna get cut it’s definitely GT and movies cause they aren’t canon. The game studios would rather put in random ToP contestants than GT and movies because they are easier to sell as DLC. But I think Dbs Broly and Superhero have a good chance of making it in

Why are we wasting slots on transformations? In the original games all of the character transformations were secondary choices after selecting your base character. They didn't take up extra slots on the main roster. There were 98 used character slots on the main roster for Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi 3 but a total of 161 characters when including their individual transformations. I think its safer to assume that sparking zero would follow suit. For example there were only 5 gokus on the roster, goku early, goku mid, goku end, goku gt and kid goku and when selecting each it brought up a secondary screen including any of their usable transformations.
That’s literally how it was in bt3. They are showing u the slots like this because it’s easier seeing the characters for marketing

Super broly and Z broly are technically different characters entirely. Think of it as a multiverse scenario. But trunks is the same trunks who time travels.

Listen I don't care if most of them are copy cats because let's be real they were doing shity coppies in Budokai T 3 aswell, i'm just happy we get the big ass roaster, it's all I wanted from the game.
Oh yeah, by now there is like zero worries I have about this game. I was very sceptical when we got the first release trailer, with this level of graphics I was sure we will get a tiny character roster. But no, the base game comes with the largest Tenkaichi Budokai roster to date. And this is great, because - we all know there will be tons of DLC, but with a roster this big, that's perfectly fair. The game doesn't NEED the DLC so the DLC existing will only be a huge plus on top. And this recent showcase proved that the devs know exactly what we want and plan on delivering it, man this game is going to be so good. I wasn't excited for a dragon ball game in decades, but this is HYPE
the roster is too small to be fair, all gt, all the movies, lots of important characters(yes even yajirobe), the giants, all are missing still, and no things like Z trunks will not be the same as super trunks because of transformations first of all and if it was that simple goku would be a single character and the same for vegeta. I think they'd rather add something of og dragon ball too

I would say the same for Super Hero, by the facy that its too much recent and they would sell more if they add super hero characters as DLC.
I believe that we are going to see more GT and Classic characters instead of Super Brolly and Z movies characters. Mainly due to the fact thar GT and a Classic is part of Dragon Ball budkmai tenkaichi series since the first game.

It’s already confirmed to have 2 17’s. Ssj2 for the universe 6 saiyan will most likely be in here. It will be 2 variations for gohan most likely yall keep forgetting this is tenkachi. And I argue this all time for sure z and super trunks are separated lol. It’s already confirmed there’s Frieza(super) basically confirms 2 versions. I feel like yall play these modern dragonball games too much it’s time to get back to the glory days where everyone had their forms and nothing was missing

Too many variation characters taking up space. They are going to have transforming characters so those spaces are wasted

but this is the number of characters that will be in the game just like bt3(bt3 only had 96 if you dont count forms and 161 when you do and this is gonna be the same)
and we shouldn't Cut Transformations because that is not tenkaichi(we literally had Base teen Gohan and Base Z Broly who never fought once)
and if you cut forms they will never be in the game which sucks I tbh prefer having everybody's every form just like a true tenkaichi game this is not xenoverse that forms get cut
but if you cut uncanon characters they can still be in the game later through DLCs
80% of that "roster" is clones
That’s cap because if they all play different and have different forms techniques and moves then it isn’t a clone
@@Gfromda23 Let them just be installs then, so if you go Goku base then ssj, ssj2, ssj3, god, blue etc. you always get a new moveset when transforming, while staying the same pick to play character

I think you put in too many duplicate characters and should have removed more and just considered them to be skins instead. Even for frost, I would consider him to be basically freeze from the freeze saga so I’d just make him a skin. You put too many freezes as well, original broly should also be a skin.
