@@kiran2976 as i said in the review, you will high bass on xb55 compared to ex255 and bigger size of xb55ap may cause discomfort to some people. Make your selection based on these parameters.

I am using xb55AP for about 3 years and it is definitely very good for pubg but I cannot agree with you about the footsteps.. You can get footsteps very clearly and even tell which floor, either the enemy is snaking or climbing stairs.. in a way you can tell the exact position because of its low frequency range which is far better than ex series. But one thing I didn't like is that sony branding and steelplated colour will be faded after a year or two.
thats ok... during comparison videos we have to decide which one is better . Every sony earphones has good audio , even 155ap is excellent in details but 255ap is just little better than both of these :). RHA MA390 further better and KZ even more than that.

After your recommendation I recently bought sony mdr ex255ap for rs. 1700 this is the very first time that I purchased any earphone priced this much
before this I've used One more piston fit and Sennheiser CX 180 they delivers almost balanced sound
I was using these earphones on my moto g8 plus the sound output on this device is fairly good
But when I plugged these sony ex255 earphones on same device it producing little bit hollow sound don't no why the sound is kind of unpleasant to me
Is this the signature sound of ex255ap ??
or am I not familiar with this type of earphones ??
or is there any problem with my smartphone's output ??

Have you tried using larger eartips? Usually, that happens because the earphone is not getting a good seal, which means you have to use different eartips or find the appropriate position to wear them.
Exactly I had mdrex255ap for almost 2years those were balanced with more trebble , so when one of my earplug stopped functioning I ordered them again , theis time they came in wierd and cheap cardboard packing and had more bassy sound to them.

Check out my comparison video between the two. If your priority is bass then go with xb55ap but keep in mind that they have a bigger size. Both are equally good in terms of audio quality.

New packing of 255ap has some quality issues so don't go with that.

Based on user reviews, people have expressed that the product doesn't sound as good as I expressed in the video. The old packing is different as you see in the video and new packing is different. Earlier the people who bought it on my recommendation were very satisfied but recently they are not with the new variant.

@@lotoftech ya i bought it and exactly hate it. i was using xb55ap for years. when sony discontinued it, i change to ex255ap and it sounds so muddy. it giving me headaches everytime i use it 😭. idk why the reviews at the store i bought it states non of these experience im having. the bass is absolutely cheap. and the sound so compact not as wide as xb55ap it hurts my eardrums and head

I never reviewd t290 because of the average reviews on Amazon and flipkart. I felt Ex155ap are better than Jblt210 so ex255ap may also prove to be better than t290. Overall JBL earphones are good but most of them have issues like one earpiece stops working after sometime.
