But what happened was Deena's conscience acted as the observer and the feeler. Sarah's love for Hannah started the cycle and Deena's love for Sam ended it. Hannah Miller/Samantha Fraser were very lucky to be loved so deeply by two strong souls.
From Sam and Deena to Sarah and Hannah. I love their parallels and even tho the latter deserved better, I'm still glad that Sam and Deena got their happy ending. RIP Sarah Fier.

There is the possibility of reincarnation but personally I believe that Deena at least is not a descendant. There is the point that the bloodline was killed off but also that Sarah only looked like Deena for the most part because she was showing Deena her story as if Deena was experiencing it. While the rest of them might be descendants there is also the possibility that they looked like they did because Sarah was drawing from Deena’s memories to show what happened, using people she knew to represent the people of Union.
