- Reigning Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios was moved to tears during her grand welcome motorcade around the SM Mall of Asia grounds on Sunday.
The Nicaragua beauty queen donning a red gown, was greeted by delighted Filipino pageant fans who went to witness her parade.
Palacios said she’s thankful for the love that Filipinos have been showing her and the organization.

By chance, I was able to watch her compete and win her national title last year as I was browsing through YT. Even then, I was impressed and stunned by her performance and beauty. I was rooting for her (and Michelle, of course) in MU and I was not surprised at all that she ultimately won the crown. I'm so happy that she visited Philippines as the reigning Miss Universe to help promote and inspire the next MUPH/MU.
