The last scene of this episode was probably one of the best scenes Outlander has had. The reactions of all the actors, the Jamie and Claire theme sweeping until they see William... near perfect.
This was such an iconic episode! So much going on! Superb acting especially Cait and David! And then the King of Men walks into the room! It just melted my heart! Claire and Jamie together again! It doesn’t get any better than that! Outlander is amazing! 💙🤍💓😍🤩
I KNEW HE WASN'T DEAD but yeH perfectly done- as I TOTALLY DIDN'T EXPECT HIM I think I didnt' scream but I gasped! LIke OMG...ahhhh. Did you notice the musical refrain when Jamie came back and all hell broke loose wiht the redcoats,, it was a sprightly upbeat tempo, like "here we go...."
1. Caitriona's delivery of "He's not yours to mourn!"=CHILLS! 2. Love triangle? Lizzie would approve :P and 3. Bree REALLY needs to learn to lock her doors!!
Jamie,Claire,William and Lord John ( Ian too ) all loved so passionately the people they were involved with but William has someone in his life who was in the same situation, his sister Brianna ( Frank and Jamie ) William ( Lord John and Jamie ) looking forward to the next episodes and how these issues will be resolved, Caitriona Balfe and David Berry were fantastic ❤
What a shock!J amie apears out of the blue, no explanation of where he had been. I knew he was still alive, but there was no hint that he was searching for Claire.
I am glad that they didn't show anything more than the book described for LJG and Claire. Loved Izzy and John together - now their night together after the wedding needs to be book true as well.
@@YogaBlissDance he is a lot younger than her it is like a "mrs. Robinson" thing. ha . But he is a gentleman just a tad bit awkward at times...good thing Claire did share the whole being from the future part hahah
David Berry is married (to a woman) and they have a son. He has been a popular actor for years . I love the clipped upper class English accent he does in Outlander as well as his acting excellence. Cheers from Australia.
I loved this episode! After watching this recap I am even strongly wondering why in the heck did they put some of the actors in such horrible/fake wigs! Breanna yes because she needed to have red hair and Ian needed the Mohawk but John looks like he has the perfect hair just the way it is. Also the new Jenny has hair in real life that would have worked for the show.
@@YogaBlissDance I grew up in my sister's day spa of 40y and know a bad wig and bottle job when I see them. This qualifies! Helmet head needs to definitely go! Wth were they thinking?? Come on; it's Outlander!
It was rushed in the book as well. It was meant to be spurred on by the urgency of Claire’s imminent arrest! Also, Claire didn’t care about her own life but wanted to protect her extended family from retribution.

"Dont mess with the Frasers!"
David was wonderful in this episode…feeling her anguish…Love comes in many forms..
I screamed when Jamie came thru the door😅😅😅😅and then Claire smiles for the first time in days ..Jamie is back to his crazy self…

more like weeks-months, they really condense down the timeline and it makes it seem like only days have passed
I was just thankful he didn't come in during LJG's "deer" story in bed. yikes...
I cried 😢 it was so beautiful 😍
God i never want this show to end its soooooo great so magical ❤😢💔
This episode was one of the best in the entire series full stop.

'There he is the hunk of love himself 😆😍

Such a great episode! There’s a lot to get into this season so it will only get better yet.

John and Claire are my favorite side couple 😂😂 what a wild pairing 😜
I know right...I was like 'HOW THE HELL are they gonna do this????" I get why it was such a short scene but part of me wanted a longer scene...

@@thekrayonkidsbookadventures Only 12 years older. That's not like Mrs. Robinson who was 20+ years older than Benjamin Braddock.

Today I learned that Lord John Grey is Australian
Well at least David Berry is :)

He's Canadian too. He became Auzzie @ 7. Love, love, love him!
Classic distinction. Upper crust definitely. I can't I imagine another LJG.😮
He sure is, sometimes in interviews you can hear the Australian slang appear. Cheers from Australia too.
David Berry🤩

I AGREE NEW JENNY'S HAIR IS HORRID, I just stare at the hairliine like "why, why"

Claire and John fought…but there was no transition to comforting each other, to surrendering to passion. It made me sad.

LJG married Claire to protect her. I think going to bed together for any reason at the time was sad.
and we found out later in the ep ..he really didn't have to marry her because that general is a rebel too...
Yeah i dodnt like that either. Hpw could she sleep with LJG in the state she was in, and being so in love with Jamie?
Exactly, and that's when I stopped reading the books....just not believable. Just seeing her and Lord John in bed ... well ... too weird
They ruined this part of the book by 'rushing" the whole marriage with John.
It was rushed in the book as well. It was meant to be spurred on by the urgency of Claire’s imminent arrest! Also, Claire didn’t care about her own life but wanted to protect her extended family from retribution.
Rushed... Yes.. Ruined... No. I LOVE this bit of the books but like I get it. They have 5 episodes to cram like 900 pages in
@@lisadavis321 Yes she was ready to just die, but when he said, oh the whole lot would be under suspicion.
