Due to ongoing, long-term (40+ years) and worsening health problems, I recently signed Do Not Resucitate papers at my Dr. office. Doesn't mean I won't be treated for things or chronic severe pain won't be mitigated where possible, just that if God calls me home, I'm going without argument. As a former nurse, I learned that medicine has advanced enough to keep our shells going when there's absolutely no quality of life left to be had. No thank you. I'm leaving it up to God how and when. There's been great peace in this decision.

If I may please could I ask y’all for some prayers for my daddy, we found out a couple of days ago that he has vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s. He’s also had seven strokes in two years and things are not looking at all good. My whole family are devastated by this news but we’re trying so hard to be positive around daddy. He knows how bad his situation is and has accepted it, he actually said he’s looking forward to being with my momma again. Our hearts are broken and we could really do with your prayers to give us the strength we need now and more so in the future. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, blessings and only the very best wishes to you all x

As one of God's children, I truly believe He is helping her through this transition. I also pray for the many of our fellow family members who have illnesses, and problems. Please tell that lady to not accept that She only has 6 months, never give up only GOD knows when it's time for us to go home. In 2003 the Doctors told my family I had a 95% chance I wasn't going to live, and if I did I would always be a vegetable. It hasn't been easy but I'm still here. 🙏🙏🙏
I totally agree. God sometimes has other plans for us and I believe in miracles. Doctors are only human and can make mistakes too. I pray to God for good health and I ask my body to heal itself, I tell my cells to get to work to heal. I'm 56 and I've never been seriously ill. I do hope the lady sees our comments. I am praying for her and trust that God will make the right decision ❤🙏

LeaAnn and Ralph you know I support your health choice 100% regarding the decision to cease feeding the goats grain. What are you going to use as bribes if/when the goats escape?
I think you have done an amazing job to get the pigs through winter effectively maintaining their weight with only tiny variations. Congrats on the results achieved overall since you began the regime. It is hard. We love them and want to spoil them but we are conditioned to use food as a reward or to show love.
I think I’m going to try some Timothy pellets mixed with grain. Convert them over Susan. Thoughts?

I feel for the little goats when they get banded, but it's a neccessity, and after a few days of discomfort, they will be acting their ol' selves again. I agree with you that I think the third cat is one of Miss Kitty's original kittens. It took a while to get Miss Kitty to come to you, so I have no doubt with your patience and kindness that this one will be hanging around closer and closer before too long. I think that Bella and Olivia gaining some weight back is not too surprising. It was a really cold winter at some points, and they were probably storing fat to help keep warm. It's only the beginning of March now, so more cold weather could be coming before it is truly spring. They will lose weight again. Grandma, thanks for showing all the signs that have been sent by fans and hung up on the pens. I really like all of the signs. I also like the gifts that have been sent, too. Prayers for the woman with only six months to live, and any other fans out there that need prayers. Blessings to you all.

Sometimes they come back to where they were born unless found and kept by someone.I was gave a full grown outside male so kept him in the house for two weeks,he stayed hid all the time unless I was at work because he was eating what I left when I went out the door to head to work. He came from a small town 30 miles from me and I think he tried to find his way back,because as soon as I let him out he was gone.. About a year later I was working on my truck and out the side of my eye I thought I saw a animal under the edge of my house and a closer look it was him. He was scared so I got some food and he came out to eat when I went back in the house. Took couple of weeks then he let me pet him. So I had my cat back. Long story I know. God bless yall Doss family..

Bless the little goats with their one bad day but as Kyle says it's best for the rest...glad the vet was able to come to your place. That was really great. Don't be too concerned about the little pigs gaining a bit of weight....you amped up their food to make them more comfortable during the winter. In a couple of weeks you will be able to cut back to their warmer weather rations. I am sorry to hear about your friend and her diagnosis, but I lost two very special friends in my lifetime that had been given a specific time frame and both, as strong Christian women, were happy to hear it, and were very excited to know. I believe if you you are right with the Lord, you know you will be in a better place. It is only sad to know you are leaving loved ones behind. Just let them know you will be waiting on the other side when God takes them home as well. Y'all have a Blessed day.

I used to get my animals (cats & dogs) pumpkin seeds to prevent worms. wonder what the vet would think about it. I also used to give them bewer's yeast to prevent flees ( the vitamin b in that did it).
I'm continuing prayers for everyone, and I only ask that ya'll continue to pray for myself and my loved ones.
I lost a brother AND a sister last summer. My brother to heart disease and kidney failure and my sister to cancer.
My mom has terminal cancer as well and my dad has dementia, lost the ability to walk, and has 100% blockage in one carotid artery, and 98% in the other. He also has heart disease and is 89 yrs. old...not a good candidate for Stents.
So PLEASE, throw one up for us. ❤❤❤

My Goodness! Your parents have lasted well - but losing their children before they go themselves is a very speciall type of hard on parents - i remember my mama after my sister died, anguishing because somehow, she wasnt granted the ability to cry because she was just so devastated; and hardest of all on you, as you grieve with them, and support them in their grieving, even as you grieve the losing of them, too - definitely hugs and prayers for your entire family, but specially you - be kind to yourself, it takes a long time to feel anything definable through these days and beyond

That is why i was so confused, ok: I knew Grandpa's Channel as Adler Farms, thought his last name was Adler. Ok, then i do not know how i got to Chad and Doss Farms, but started watching him as well. Did not know you were kin. Then he calls the little feller Adler. Then i thought both of y'all's last names were Doss. I think i heard Matt say something about Chad; Then LOL i was confused by another channel Adler and Sons, they do lots of stuff, and sell firwood poles for making firewood. It is becoming more and more clear, but i ain't there yet :) I found out, ya'll, i think are in Oklahoma?
Then Chad & Rae's house went up in flames. They do have a nice place on 40 acers. I might have to go back and watch the oldest videos to catch up, although i have been watching a long time.. Grandma with her Adler Farms sign - started clearing my brain a little LOL ty :) With Grandma's help i think your name is Doss, and the grandson is Adler, and hence the name of the farm after Adler the grandson, Adler Farms - am i on track or just as confused as i always was.. :)
You are on track Barry. My oldest son is Chad. He originally named his farm (on our land in Missouri) Adler Farms. He moved to OK and I kept some of the animals and started my channel, Grandpa Adler Farms. Our middle son soon joined and he and wife’s channel is K&S Get Out. Chad married Rae, wanted all the family to feel part of channel and renamed it to Doss Farms. We changed ours to Grandpa Doss Farms. Youngest son started helping me on the farm and started a channel @mattdossway. You are not confused and put it together nicely. 😉 I have a video called “It’s All His Fault” - Why Did I Listen to Him from about 5 months ago. What a wonderful video! All the animals are looking great. Feeling bad for the little goats that got banded and glad the worst is pretty much over. I too think the new cat that is around is probably one of the original kittens and hoping it will stick around and become tame like MaMa and the other one. Would be awesome if the other one would show up too! Glad the vet said keep the little goats separate until they are bigger so they won’t get butted and hurt. Glad Lola stayed the same weight. The other two are still growing so it is understandable that they gained weight. The chickens look great. Still laying good. Grandma what a beautiful bunch of kitchen towels that lovely lady sent you! Good idea to give Grandpa his own drawer of towels lol 😂. Dogs don’t have a long lifespan every time I fly up to visit him at my sons house it breaks his heart and mine when I fly back home to Florida without him 💔

I wonder if Rae knows how much male goats stink when not banded and how easy it is to rent a male when you want to breed them, your babies will be fine in a few days and you will have more loving goats , they can become very aggressive when not banded and as Kyle and Shannon has said the smell of a male breeder goat smells so bad , they are all so cute i know you will love them and they will all get along fine in time once they get a little bigger it will be safer for them , God bless all the Doss family ♥️🫶
