Feeling tight and constricted, I've been super uncomfortable at night and now even throughout the day the last week or so.... this video def gave me some much-needed relief. Thank you!
This is my first pregnancy and with Covid I am having a very different pregnancy experience then what I wanted. I am grateful for these videos, even though I am not able to experience an actual yoga class this gives me the information and support I need. Thank you for what you do!
Thank you Betina! This practice has helped me tremendously during my second trimester when my belly is feeling tight! I just have a question, is laying on the back like the first pose safe being this far along in pregnancy?
Laying on the back during pregnancy is a personal decision. Most women have no issues staying there for a short time. If you feel dizzy or uncomfortable move to your side instead. You can also put a cushion under your right buttock to reduce the pressure on the main vein that runs down this side.
Thank you for your wonderful videos! I was wondering; in a different video, you mentioned that we should avoid catcow in pregnancy...is that meant more for third trimester?
You can do cat / tabletop but avoid cow as it just creates more of a curve in the low back which pregnancy already creates in the body. More relevant for third trimester yes, but you can just be mindful of how it feels in your body. If it feels good, keep going. If it creates any low back pain, avoid.
Thank you for your channel! I watched your videos with my first baby and now I'm on my way to having my second and this helps me relax.
You're welcome. I'm so glad to hear my videos help.
