- In 1989, a vote of no confidence motion was launched to remove Benazir Bhutto’s government. We spoke with Azeem Chaudhary, a senior journalist who covered the event closely at the time, to share his insights about how Benazir managed to gain a majority support in the motion to overthrow her government.
