This scene gives me chills everytime. Especially when i first saw it when the game first came out. I was only 8 years old lol this game came out in 2008. Interestingly enough my dad told me he would buy me the game if i would ride a "bull" at the rodeo. Of course it wasnt a full size bull but i did it and was thrown off in like 2 seconds but i got the game!
Don't get me wrong, I love the original MW series with Price and the gang; even some of the one-offs like Advanced Warfare had good stories. But this was an actual event that took place in history, and it was the culmination of a long, brutal campaign. No game will ever capture a moment like this in this way ever again.

I see what you mean, the original gun was a 1 shot only and it was a massive round that took awhile to reload nothing like this game where there’s 5-6 shots, however for the needs of the game and making it possibly to play with in multiplayer they probably did this
@HappyTimes024, there were two different soviet anti-tank guns. The one you're referring to is PTRD and it had only one round chambered. PTRS-41 anti-tank rifle depicted in this game chambers 5 rounds in reality. Though the scope is pure fiction

Pretty sure the Reichstag was burned down in 1933 so the inside you see here was in fact what the Kroll Opera House, where the Nazis held parliamentary meetings.
The reichstag was burnt down in 1933, but the building still stood. The Russians did storm the reichstag building as the nazi's were defending it ferociously even though the reich chancellery was their main building. I'm sure they also stormed the kroll opera house at some point too

I googled "Inside the Reichstag 1940" just to be sure, take a look at the pictures and see for yourself. It is quite accurate to what this would have looked like in real life after fortifications.
by keeping the subject out of reach, it'd actually help it to feel more sinister if you think about it putting hitler's suicide in the game would make for a fun exposition, but not as effective as to keeping the tone down to earth
