Had a very good and interesting Experience to have travelled by this Tr. No.12658 Bangalore to Chennai Central station on the WAP Engine No.222537 as my Good old Driver Friend was good enough to have given me the chance of traveling on the Engine which was a Full Night's journey and observed how the Main Driver who controls the Train on the Left side of his Cabin and his Asst on the Right side of the Cabin and the procedures they need to follow.
These mfs have completely ignored mumbai chennai line, even though being 130 kmph capable, there is not a single train that covers the 1300 kms of route in around 15-18 hours, already there are very less trains and these existing ones take 21 hours and beyond. This 22158 is named as a superfast train but in actual is the slowest one, only advantage is that it reaches mumbai early morning around 6 am. Being the oldest train it was very fast earlier but now it is given almost all the unnecessary stops😢

Yes. One of the most neglected line Mumbai-Chennai for years. Thought after doubling it will improve. Still ICF coaches and not LHB Coach. There used to be one I AC-cum II AC coach in this train. Now it is remived. None of the four trains have I AC coach. There are three trains to Chennasi Central (one On MOndas only). Thye should have introduced four trains , two to Chennai Central and two to Egmore for the convenience of Passengers. I had suggested to the RM but till date no improvement. The almghty only know when the Railways will look into it.
