I have an 04 altima and the aftermarket/mod scene for these cars are non-existent unless you have an se-r. I appreciate these videos, keep up the good work!!
I try to keep the vids under 5min. This was painted using spray cans. The only technique is to maintain a 70% overlap while keeping a distance of at 4 to 6 inches away from the work piece, using consistent left to right passes . Spray on masking paper or cardboard to see the spray pattern size. Depending on the manufacture, that spray pattern could be 3 or 4 inches.
Various places where these are sold. Summit Racing website offer the 3M automotive plastic masking or Home Depot offers the painter’s plastic masking, works fine solvent base paint systems. It’s a wide box 20” wide, great for regular cars. Big trucks or SUV types, most of the of truck will be covered. For this specific project, I used separate plastic and overlap them. Don’t use the Walmart ones, paint tends to flake off fast which can land on your paint, unless you’re painting something quick.

Could that BE any shorter? You didn’t show us your painting technique or anything. This should’ve been a “HOW TO TAPE” video...

You do realized these are just strips of vinyl tape that can be removed and re-ordered from the dealership right?
What would you prefer? A long lasting refinish or a sticker?
Where did you get the full car plastic masking from ?

Where can I get a full car mask that's big enough for a full sized truck??
a car mask? You mean car bra? If that's the case, then check out covercraft.com. If that's not what you mean, then tell me what mask you're referring?
Hi, where did you purchase the foam tape from?

You did your repair on vinyl. You supposed to strip off the vinyl that's on the door trim then do your repair
