Goal seek can be very useful, for example, when looking for what the price should be to make a certain profit. Thank you very much! You have a great way of presenting!

This is super clear and concise and helpful but modifying the original dataset makes my who body twitch! Please please everyone make a copy of the original table and then run this on the copy! I am having a hard time seeing the value of the Goal Seek since it only allows changing a single cell and that value can very easily be calculated for a single cell. Plus, since it is changing the original data is makes me very nervous! Can you show an example of when it would actually be useful since these scenarios are not realistic? Also, wouldn't it be more useful to have all 3 scenarios side by side in their own rows instead of changing the original data table? I'm kind of failing to see the value of these built in tools but perhaps that is because I am experienced at building these types of scenario tests on my own using formulas.

Have you tried copying the link and then pasting it into your browser's address bar, and then pressing Enter (or Return)? That should work.

Can't we change multiple prices.... Like, just imagine that you are serious about increasing the prices to increase the sales to $200000,but you want to change all the prices to do that and not only of 'skipbo ',so will you be able to get that result through 'Goal Seek'? Very Good Video anyways. thank you

I have a table of costing, target mark up's, GST, other costs components in order to derive a target price. But it is all dependent on an exchange rate. How do i set the target sell price of my products so that it doesn't change whenever i change the exchange rate???

I have a 10 row-10 columns Table and I have a Cell where I want to choose a Value which is present in B1 then in its next cell how to automatic populate the Corresponding values in other Columns... I saw hundreds of videos and it remain unanswered. how to do it seen forms, conditional formatting highlighting, but it isnt like that. I want one cell to automatically print me a value according to a value in different Cell.

Very clear presentation. Never thought Scenario Manager & Goal seek to be so easy. I have a question. The scenario & Goal seek can be worked out for multiple options? - 1. Price change for one product for select months, 2. Qty change for 3 different months, etc?. Thanks

I found after I hit OK in the goal seek it gave me ##### icons. I needed to accect the changes and then double click into the text box, and then hit enter for the sum precalculated. After doing those extra steps it seems to have worked. Thanks for the tutorials!

After you click 'Show' for a scenario, the cell values change. How would you restore the cells to the original cell values (if you did not create a scenario called 'Current')?
