I'm a 76 year old T1 diabetic recently diagnosed with Dry-AMD and this is one of the
best videos I have seen on diseases of the retina. Great job.

Recently I was diagnosed with AMD I received treatment right away. My vision is perfect now. The treatment is no fun but it is worth it. I can read, drive and my vision is great. I didn't like my first Dr so I moved on to another Dr and he did a 3 he evaluation and I'm very happy with him. 😎👍

Thank you for your video. May I ask if it is possible to partially loose vision, like darker visibility plus distortion overnight with no previous ocular history. I am told its Wet AMD but how is this possible without any early/intermediate history? There is no family history nor diabetes. The only thing I have suffered is 9 months of unrelenting terrible stress bought on by others. Do you think this may have caused this please?..

VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) is not the culprit of macular degeneration.
Blocked Bruch's membrane is the culprit of macular degeneration. If drusen/lipofuscin can't
be excreted from RPE (retinal pigment epithelium) to surface of cornea, it's impossible to
effectively treat macular degeneration. Furthermore, if Muller glia, deemed to be retinal
adult stem cells, can't be triggered for regeneration. macular degneration can't be reversed
    and vision can't be restored.
Nano-grade eye drops should be the last-ditch treatment for macular degeneration.
All glory belongs to God !
