I dont know if someone pointed it out but on the left with the pig next to the mushrooms you kept placing wheat wich takes to long to grow and the pigs were eating the mushrooms making you lose 30 coins each day 😬
this is the kind of game you sit down to play for a few minutes and 5 hours go by without realizing it, in the same way that i saw this video and thought "i'd like to see what this game is like, but idk if i'm gonna watch the whole thing" and the next thing i know it's the end of the video
a carrot and a pig costs 2 gold and 2 squares, and sells for 9. that's 7 profit in 2 days from 2 tiles carrots sell for 4. 2 carrots cost nothing and take 2 squares and get you 8 gold in 2 days. Having pigs at all is less efficient than just spamming carrots unless the ranch occupies a space you wouldn't otherwise have available. If that's the case though carrots are def the best crop for 'em
@@Terrible_nameIf you have two plots next to a ranch, you can alternate feeding pigs from the two and get 14 gold from 3 tiles in 2 days, which is (slightly) more efficient than just carrots.
The pig sells for 9, costs 2 coins so it's a profit of 7 per day, however he also eats a vegetable that is worth 4 gold thus only earning 3 gold, finally he himself also takes a tile. Since a crop takes 2 days to grow and sells for 4$ and the pig takes up a single space, your opportunity cost is 2 gold, this the pig actually only earns you 1$ more than if you only planted a normal crop. In fact if the pig 🐖 exists for more than 1 day make 1 gold less then from just planting normal crops.
Sounds pretty realistic then lmao. Way back in 2014 when I was in college, average profit for a feedlot was $50 per bovine. Due to losses from disease etc, not gaining weight fast enough or requiring extra days on feed, expensive feed, and packers don't pay shit.
My biggest problem with this game is that everything follows the 3x3 rule, i think the game would benefit from having 4x1s on two sides, or 2x1 on all sides. 3x3s are great as a single piece but dont work if every other units range is also 3x3
First video I've watches of yours, but I am absolutely engrossed. This is the kinda content I look for! Also you kinda sound like NorthernLion, your voice a bit but moreso just how you speak.
I bought the game after whatching this video. It's definitely on the shorter end of things, at most a couple hours but the game is "only" $5. I didn't unlock everything but after a couple of run the game becomes a bit repetitive. Still fun!
I think trying to expand in the cardinal directions with plentiful stuff like farmers, wells early game and then using the space of ocean to plan out more efficient projects like a cheese factory surrounded by 8 ranches with cows (which would be surrounded by 16 free tiles making carrots, surrounded by some farmers. Or 8 free tiles but windmills covering them for 1 carrot a day). Since the wells/farmers usually get in the way of efficiency and this way they can ‘pave the road’ for future endeavors
Yo Olexa, It's been a while since you last played Nowhere Prophet, 4 years to be exact. I hope you make a video about it, It's now really good and they added a lot of stuff
A new age Monopoly friend-ruining game would be this style of game, but competitive multiplayer where you're trying to interfere with the other player being able to make enough rent by your own tile placements.
Maybe it's because it's 442 am and I'm about to crawl to my bed after watching 3 hours of youtube vids I didn't need to watch, but I genuinely heard the opening line as "For the record, let it be known that I am a massive fucker" and I busted out laughing and I hope it didn't wake any neighbors.

wait so, the mushroom costs 1 wood, and one tree gives you one wood and a free field... why ever choose the mushroom rather than the tree? (same with wells and stones?)

Might have been a bit more efficient to grow carrots for the pigs, rather than wheat. Grows 33% faster!
Wouldn't the tomatoes be better since they grow in 2 days?
@@carllauridsen9813 Tomatos HAVE to be watered, while carrots dont, so its still safer to use those

3:40 had big northerlion energy

The funniest part of this video is when Tyler says "he's gonna give us some milk" for the cow. I don't think that's the milk you want
I could legit watch you play games like this all day lol. As always, I LOVE the Olexa Looks series!
You feed the 9 coin pig with 30 coin mushroom for eternity, it hurts my eyes to see that until the end of the game.
I love the way you say „piggu”. Amazing game and an amazing youtuber instant sub!
