you can get carrion ogres and giants from free spawn in lands that large size units died. I guess the most recent patch added even more carrion types. When juggling your candles dont forget to take temp scales into account. heat/cold 4-5 now causes popkill. Its actually sort of dangerous to dump temp scales since you can easily get into 4s during the winter/summer wiping growth out for the entire year.
If that hp losses cause different squads to rout thing is true it's going to make magic units that are being kept around by a single mage very interesting to use. I foresee a lot of pyrrhic victories caused by random commanders getting cold feet and running away so the magic units dissolve.
It's going to be interesting to see the late game. I've noticed pumping up the difficulty in this game the ai mainly seems to get a ton of gems and they will spam up like 3k unit armies of random summons like ogres and sea dogs, and I've never even tried impossible. Also if I recall you only took 1 dominion. Are you really not going to get domkilled?
Yeah they get lots of summons. And yeah, dominon is going to be a lot harder to manage than in a normal MP game... because impossible AI will pretty quickly temple all provinces... so there will be a ton of dominion pressure to resist. It can be managed though with a lot of active preaching.
Would be cool if Asphodel got a point buff carrion arrows spell as a national. That way you could get the effect on some bows of war for extra reanimation memes.
I copyied your scales but made a 6D 4N awake expander carrion dragon with reforming flesh and undying bless. Fear routs indies fine and the little extra dominion makes your candles less unstable. Dont what i'm gonna do in the lategame but i'm a noob lol.

Killing pan first would make up for the lower gem gen you have with 1dom. It would allow you to spam carrion forts.
