I find giving good a rinse of the blade head works just as well. I take the head unit off the shaver, then I open the head unit up. First I thoroughly rinse the blade head with warm water, then the part that holds the blade. Place them on a towel to dry. Once dry put it back together.
I have been using a skull shaver for years now... But getting a straight answer on lubing it is nearly impossible. When I first started using a skull shaver.. Had no idea that there was a lubing stage... When you get a newer model, it says it is wise to lube every so often. But there is no clear indication of the paticulars.. I look it up on youtube and it is as though No one has ever heard of it??????????????????????????????? They even send a small vial of oil.............??????????????

Good video.....I just got mine a few months ago and i love it!! I actually clean it with water after every use. But i never bought the rinse stand. I just use a small bowl of water and i hold it and let it run in there for a minute or so....Not 10 mins.....But great stuff man. Thanks.

I need help here folks… I got the Platinum version, but when I opened the blades to deep clean it, after I installed again, only 1 blade out of the four started to rotate. I tried for more than an hour to reposition it, but still they don’t rotate, I got some luck with my tries and sometime 02/04 were rotating, but I never had the four blades to rotate again! Any advice guys?
On that white thing that goes in there to clip it into place, there is an arrangement of silver struts n clips. One or two of them have popped out, causing it to not lay flat/flush. You need. To check that white thing and make sure it’s even all round.
The little white square thing that you don't mention has to be opened up, You'll see tons of hair under that piece that you remove, the little wheel that locks those blades back into place break after so many cleans.
There’s hair, dead skin and grease clogged in there. It’ll need quite warm water in there. Probably a tiny bit of liquid soap n disinfectant. Especially if you’ve been shaving using oil.
So here is what I have found .. the three head blade works well but definitely takes longer.. the 5 head blade can cause a bit of irritation cause of the middle blade being fixed and not having much give to it .. so in my opinion the 4 head one is there best one

Also to break up the skin oil n dead skin in there. The blades are coated in a mulch. Imagine collar grime x 20.
