What a baritone!! Most take those high parts in "Dies, nox et omnia" in falsetto and he just sails through them as easily as if he were a tenor. Major respect... The soprano is fabulous as well, though if I were in the audience I'd want her to be less buried in her score.
El barítono es maravilloso…Tiene prácticamente dos registros: Tenor y Barítono con plenitud de facultades….Y la soprano bellísima en todo Voz y y Figura
This really is a top-notch performance of excerpts of the Carmina Burana, including soprano Claudia Boyle’s sweet delivery of In Trutina, maestro Işın Metin conducting, tenor Erdem Erdoğan, baritone Christopher Magiera and the very accomplished Bilkent Symphony Orchestra, though it is a pity not to be able to hear and see such dedicated performance in its entirety. Impressive, nevertheless …
Yup... agreed. Mine also comes up into my throat every time at 18:03 ("Dulcissime"). Lucia Popp from Slovakia set the standard for the soprano solos for the "Carmina" back in the 1970s. Probably the most beautiful singing voice in the history of song. She is gone from us now, but Claudia, and also Patricia Janečkovà from the Czech Republic, I believe, are worthy successors to Lucia as a soloist. Each of these extremely talented young women has just an incredibly lovely voice that stops you in your tracks.
Man kann nur schwärmen - eine wunderbare Sopranistin - In trutina ganz große Klasse!!!
Wow!!! La soprano
Bravo Christopher and so good to hear Claudia Boyle again! Truly beautiful singing from both of you!
The true hero is the triangle guy.
Extremamente belo, grandes musicos e maravilhosos cantores, Bravissimo!
Me encanta
Great Carmina Burana on Turkish style. Beautiful, sweet, dulcissima.
