Hi KJ and Craig! Thank you for sharing your lives with all of us on TH-cam! I can't believe you've been in Ajijic for two years already! My husband and I have just sold our house and are making plans for being in Ajijic by next March. A lot of what makes us feel comfortable about this move is watching your videos and seeing how much you two have made your lives so meaningful in Mexico. We will be there in March and look forward to finding our best selves and hopefully finding a new place to call home! We can't wait until we get to celebrate our two year anniversary in Mexico as well. Congratulations on the 2 year point with many more years to come!
@@socalmntnman Wow!! Thank you - this really means so much to us!! Definitely stay in touch and we'd love to meet you guys some time!! Best wishes on your journey!! KJ
I watch you guys because you seem like really nice people. I enjoy your adventures and misadventures immensely. I think I waited too long to move to Mexico. I started exploring there about ten years ago, when I was only 65. One wants to go the other does not. It's a common story, I suppose but my wife didn't want to move to Mexico, now she does but I'm now 75 and no longer longer up to it. My health care is too good here and I am beginning to use it . . . . . a lot. I guess I am living vicariously through you much younger fellas now. I'm a Guanajuato kind of guy and wish I could move there. Maybe if I feel better in a year or so but that's not realistically the direction this stuff goes at my age. Thanks for the great videos and encouragement.
Thank you so much for following us and our adventures. I was just telling Craig that there are people out there that enjoy watching our adventures (and misadventures) because they may not be able to do so themselves. So, thank you so much for commenting. Health issues are valid and can mean being tied to a location - but if you are physically able to travel - I encourage you to make the trip to visit. I know so many people now that are doing that sort of thing and they are so happy being able to see the places they only dreamed they could. KJ
Craig & KJ. Thanks so much for the channel and for what you are doing in the Ajijic community. You have given my husband and I some reassurances in our pursuit of life after retirement. Were making a trek down to Ajijic in January. Would be great to get that cup of coffee with ya'll.
2 years!!??!!! Shocking how fast that flew. Congratulations guys! Hoping you’ll do Thriller again next year, K.J., and that we’ll be there to see that. Keep up the good work, both of you!
I have been watching you two for 2 years. Next summer, I want to stay in lake Chapala for a month and then a month in San Miguel. I grew up on the border, but I was always able to run back to the US every week. Committing full time is going to be a leap.
Wow - you've been with us since the beginning of our journey here to Mexico! Thank you for following. Make sure you let us know if you make to Lake Chapala so we can meet! And remember - poco a poco, amiga! KJ
@@cindyk3076 Thank you, Cindy! It always makes me smile when I see your comments! You've been on this journey with us for quite awhile and I wanted to say thank you!! KJ
The differences you and others like you who make these sort of videos, show the world between life in the U.S. and Mexico, leads any one to want to move here.
Life is different here - and it's not for everyone. But for the vast majority of those of us that I know that have taken the leap of faith and done it - we don't regret it. KJ
❤I have been watching you for this two years, and I remember I told you that when you move abroad (anywhere) is not just a travel outside but inside you. Another great video my friends :)
Hey guys, I'm that 55 y.o. early retiree relocating to S.E. Asia. I'm also a huge supporter of the community. I'll be in Ajijic visiting friends from 10/29-11/5. Then on to Bangkok. Hope to meet you guys while I'm in town. Love your channel, btw‼️✌🏾🙏🏾
Hey guys. Always enjoy your videos and I can confirm that trivia is a blast! As I listened to you talking about moving forward I thought of something I would love to see if you could put it together. I would really like to hear from other expats/immigrants from Ajijic as well as other locations in MX. I know for myself I'm looking at Ajijic, San Miguel, and PV. Would be amazing to hear what folks have experienced and why they chose where they live.
Living you guys. We hope to visit Lakeside in early 2025 and if it as wonderful as it seems we hope to movie there as soon as the hubby's job give the ok for international 🎉wfh. I can't wait to get there and possibly meet you spectacular guys! BTW I hope you two attend the Witches Dance in Ajijic in a few weeks.
You guys know Josh and Kalie? I followed them for years! I visited Portugal last spring and wanted to meet them, but unfortunately our schedules didn't line up. What a small world indeed. I've seen Cia grow up on TH-cam!
