It’s just that whatever a player’s best talents are, they master and stick to those talents because that’s what makes them most valuable to the team.
If they try to force something that’s not exactly their best strength, the NBA competition is so elite that they’d get exploited.

On the contrary. Rodman can shoot. He holds scoring records at the college he went to. In his college career he averaged almost 26ppg and 16rpg. The thing is that when he got into the NBA he was on teams with a ton of scorers. So, his job was mainly defense. When Jordan retired for part of a season to go play baseball, Rodman stepped it up and was not only getting his usual rebounds per game, he was also averaging like 14ppg at that time. That was with Pippen and the other scorers still on the team. He just knew since they lost Jordan for that time he needed to do more than be a defensive guy. 💯

    • @AnTunZee

@@AnTunZee That's just a conspiracy theory some think happened because of wording Jordan used and what was going on at the time he "retired". Trust me, I am a conspiracy theorist believer when the facts are all there to back it up. But this one is all speculation. Even Jordan said "5 years down the line", and we all know he came back in less than a full season.

But he wasn’t a “good” scorer That's why he just rebounded instead of being a high scorer and rebounding. If he could efficently drop 20 and 15 he'd do it every game but he just didn't have that ability
