All Might was no longer the symbol of peace, but he was still the symbol of a true hero.
In a storytelling point of view, it does kill the entire point and symbolism of losing One for All. In universe, however, it is a pragmatic action for the characters to take.

On this one topic though, I feel like making a poi t: "I know Nami is good" In a vacuum, I'd agree, the point was succinctly made in the conversation, but "being good" is such an important running theme throughout the season. Shanks as he leaves tells Luffy to "be good" and as Luffy meets and recruits the East Blue team, everyone is "good". As an exchange, it feels unnecessary, but as a theme, I think the punctuation was important.

People don't realize it, but just because you have a quirk / superpowers doesn't make the hero. It comes from deep within. Even when all might was quirkless, he still aspired to a lot of people and heroes.
Regardless of how you feel about All Might using a suit like this, you'd think there would more like this in their world with the emergence of quirks. Mainly, suits that can match up to quirks and make normal people heroes if they are smart enough.
