I remember the first ever Ultra Unlock with Mewtwo finally available outside of EX Raids and Shiny Regional Pokémon in 7km eggs. Even just brining back a mix of regionals in eggs and some fun raid bosses would be more fun than this entire Ultra Unlock.

Same lol. I started playing in 16. But only played off and on. Last year I started fresh on a new account and have been grinding. But I think that the game is trash compared to then.
It's a mix really. You have played for 8 years, You started when the entire pokedex was yet to be released, you saw them all get released over different events. They simply cannot do that anymore or they will run out of content incredibly fast. To be fair, they could also bring back things like Deoxys, clone pokemon, etc. I played when it first came out, I didn't last more than a few months. I came back again for a few months in 2018 but felt too far behind. Came back again with a friend in early 2023 and have been playing a lot since then. The game isn't stale to me yet, but I can see how it will become stale.
but there is quite a few legendaries they have yet to be released like Kubfu, Urshifu. nd then you have Calyrex nd Glastrier and Spectrier 😬but its like they completely ignored the galar region 😅
I think this steel event is one of the better events they have done this year. The amount of candies I’m getting per catch is insane. XLs are going crazy. There’s about 10 1/64 shiny boosted pokemon in this event that are all fairly rare and fun to get. Plus, triple stardust is great. While the shiny release of Togedemaru is underwhelming, the event itself is very good all things considered. I wish they would have done some interesting raids to go along with it like a mix of steel legendaries such as Registeel, Dialga, Heatran, etc., we did just have an entire go fest focused on raiding so I am burnt out in it. I do think they could have given us multiple events across the summer but overall this event is good.

Togedemaru is all over the place and trippe stardust per catch is the bonus of the year lol. 1500 for every paras and meowth, and 3rd stage evo. Hit up an audino nest and that's 6k+ a catch

The perfect ultra unlock: Part 1: Galar starters and some other galar pokemon, maybe their shiny forms to Part 2: Introduce dynamax raids and gigantamax Part 3: Raid weekend with zamazenta in raids day 1 in its special form ( with the sheild ) and zacian for day 2 in its special form with a sword, it would probably work like mega evolution But they should maybe save something for galar tour

When were remote raids introduced and when was the price hike ? If you were able to remote raid at the reduced cost , then those old events were a lot better for that alone. The Pokémon you showed from past years , I haven’t seen in a long time. It would be nice if they brought them back.

I genuinely don't understand why you all don't take a break during the new player catch up events like this and the entire next month of raids. Between the ultra unlocks and the raid rotation you get 5 megas of useful types one of which is a hard to get regional a hard to find legendary bird and possibly the addition of apex shadows into the shadow raid rotation. We have at most three weeks of down time between mega Lucario and apex shadow Lugia so take your rest now because imo the fall season is going to be stacked if their moving Lucario into this season

Justified, but to be honest I didn't notice really until you pointed it out. I was just happy about the 3x dust, because my local park is an Audino nest! Feel like flying out to Chicago for a week? Just fyi, Togedmaru shiny is boosted in raids (1/64), I just got the shiny in my first raid (day 2 after catching about 100).
It's a mix but the 1 thing that I'm most excited for is mega Lucario I had Lucario in my pokemon scarlet and violet playthroughs and Lucario is what I typically use to get the shields from the rocket leaders and Giovanni my other 2 change according to what pokemon the rocket leaders and Giovanni currently have during a rotation
As I was working all days 07-16:00 i wasnt able to really play the ultra unlock but man, driving a forklift all day at Volvo having starpiece and lucky eggs on with the new go++ made me 10 million xp and 7 million stardust. Amazing. 4X XP and 4X Stardust, now Niantic decreased it to 3X 🤦♂️. Why? Are you like afraid of making it easier to powe up, why just not give us 4X or even 5X.
Yes all ultra unlocks before 2023 were epic and awesome but to be honest I’m glad we have them this year cause without them the game would be so boring for me and I wouldn’t have played so hard and not only that I would have quit the game already. Bombirdier or however u say it i don’t think we had a raid day for it but if we do I would be going hard for it cause I need that shiny. I disagree that’s getting worse however the adventure week doesn’t sound like an adventure at all it’s a money grab and Niantic wants ur money. Hopefully part 2 for that saves it. I love this ultra unlock part 2 and the part 3 tomorrow so I’ll look forward to that vid when u do it. Watching it anyway.
We have to learn also, you can't keep pumping out so many new stuff; the game will die. That is why Gen 2 release was a mistake and they know it. That's why it has slowed down now. Pokemon Company and Niantic doesn't want GO to run out of idea's and Pokemon and shinies.
I got off work early today and wanted to hunt for Togedemaru since I know it will be like Dendenne and completely disappear when this event is over. I spent 2 hours looking for a raid while doing quests and came to the realization of how scummy this Ultra Unlock is. They give us a 5 day event with almost the same pokemon as the first unlock event, and the ONE featured shiny is ONLY boosted in raids, so for your best chance at the shiny in that time you basically have to spend money raiding, and on TOP of that they put the third unlock event...a RAID DAY DURING the second unlock event! So not only are you losing time on the second event to do the raid day, but you are ALSO spending money on that event for raid passes too! And this is all after Go Fest where there was a heavy emphasis on raiding! Honestly I might need to take a short break after this event is done because it's just getting ridiculous. Ive basically already resigned myself to not getting Togedemaru because I know it's just not gonna happen in that time.
Niantic itself has gone downhill since the nerf of remo pass their decisions is beyond stupid unless they are selling our data Then they’d be doing some thing far worse than releasing a gambling game in the form of a kids game and they’d be using Nintendo’s own Pokémon and kid friendly stuff for malicious activities But who knows only God knows!

This year adventure events contents is really bad all pokemon in this event just like recycle and no new species Pokemon at all. Part 2 adventure event will be Team Rocket takes over new shadow Pokemon introduce including Shadow Rayquaza. ( My guess). I suggest all Pokemon Go players can close Pokemon Go game app. and watch Paris Summer Olympics games live..
So do you just want them to release every shiny into the game all at once or something? We just had go fests, are they suppose to just keep rolling heat out every week. I would rather them cool it with all these events and have some weeks with nothing. We also had Mega Lucario yesterday, which is apart of this event. It just seems the poketubers are just dumping and dumping on the game instead of playing the game and giving us fun content.
I think they shadowdropped shiny boosts for the ultra unlocks During the first one I got 14 Shinies and during this one I already have 3 I have never gotten 14 Shinies in under a week so either I was absurdly lucky or they boosted the rates
If no shut down Pokemon Go then other terms close down. If those persons like you don't want Pokemon Go close down then urge Niantic to do their very best for Pokemon Go. You are completely right. The unlocks aren't as exciting..… like at all . But Lucario bonuses are lit
