Maybe u need to learn human/sport psychology, its just early season jitters/nerves and positioning with a 'timing issue' aspect on these walks atm. Its only a matter of time riders will open up again, more, tbf its only few races in with riders still sizing each other up, so thats shows up from time to time with their uninterested behavioral traits . Riders personalities are only lacking now as their minds are elsewhere with maybe early poor resulting or form, bonus dreaming, being more disciplined and determined to win as there fighting/struggle for positioning continues. Riders will relax and become funnier and join in with Wyns jovialness pretty soon, I saw same thing last session, pull ya head in @luca_dierks 😆

World Cup DH Racers Triathlon: 1 DH run, into 1 motocross lap, into 9 holes of golf. Each stroke you go over par adds 5 seconds. to your time, each stroke you go under subtracts 5 seconds.
Modus for World Cup Downhill Golfing goes like this: At every split you have to stop and putt a ball. If you hole it on first attempt, you will not lose any time. For every additional attempt, it will add 0.5 (or thereabouts) to your time down the hill. Note: During the putting the clock for the race is stopped. Its funny, you can hardly find a racer who outright dislikes Leogang, yet "the internet" and specifically the Pinkbike Peanut Gallery insists on how bad Leogang is 😂 I dont know if the impression is tainted by last year, but Greg seems to much more relaxed and chatty this year, even though things havent come together for him. Maybe it is because racing isnt his only or even primary job in the team anymore?
you can have other preferences about personality and riding style, and about what DH should or should not be like, but i think if you pay atention when guys like Bruni and Barel talk, you understand that winning all those World Champs wasn't just luck on that day... Like in all other activities, some people have more than skill, they have incredible focus and a way of analising stuff that others will never get, no matter how much laps they do or how much effort they put in!
The problem with Bruni's "don't televise the Last Chance Qualifiers" is that there is a good chance a potential winner WILL be in there due to a puncture/mechanincal/lie down/etc in qualis. So you'd still have to combine it with some kind of re-ordering protection.
