OMG! The lady called the Fisher Price toys antiques...big difference between antiques and vintage (I know you know). How obnoxious was she? If she knows the value then she should sell them on eBay herself!! You are truly the saint of patience. Thank you so much for your knowledge and great videos!!
Lady did nothing wrong. I like how people expect to get shit given to them for nothing because it's at a garage sale. Good on her for knowing what's stuff worth not everything is ment for eBay. As a big eBay seller myself I'd much rather sell at garage sales if I was in a bigger market I would
Antique: “A collectible object that has a high value because of its considerable age.” If 2000 now counts as “vintage,” I’ll (grudgingly) accept 70s as antique.
It's funny how some people equate their stuff at a yard sale with selling on eBay. Those people don't realize that their yard sale actually equates to Goodwill or any Thrift store, NOT eBay. Frankly it's funny how Goodwill is trying to equate their goods with eBay. I'm sure they've seen their sales drop as a result. The thing is, one venue has a relatively tiny audience with a tiny chance of getting that higher price, and the other has a national or even global audience.
They can value their items however they want really. I dont think its wrong for a garage sale to price certain items they may care about a little higher. As for goodwill who receives mass donations, it is completely wrong for them to raise their prices so much. When i was younger i worked for a savers thrift store, and we used to get so much donated to us we would have to literally toss certain items away every single day.
I know resellers who curb haul, thrift store, yard sale -- all year long and then hold sales from April to November with their finds. Does that count as 'yard sale' or are they doing a popup sale every week? What should their prices be? Rock bottom, so the guy using eBay can make a big profit, or not? Do you believe you as a buyer, should pay way way less at a yard sale, because you, as the seller have way more overhead, since you pay fees a yard saler doesn't? Food for thought.
@@VABmo No but their tax cheats. You have to pay income tax when you work. Funny how giving the actual answer took less effort and words than the snarky response 😹
Yeah. Who has time to watch videos on TH-cam to get answers? 🤷♂️

Good morning to you as well
That’s the biggest zip lock bag I’ve ever seen!!!!!
Face I believe is cowardly lion from wizard of oz
Not worth that much to be honest with you. Then shows $40+ comps for about 6 fingers
The mask is the lion from wizard of oz I think 🤔
OMG i had to watch a second time, did you really just low ball her. Hey I am going to pull all the valuable toys out the bag and offer $5 for 12 action figures, 5 wrestlers worth $10 or more, one TMNT shreddar worth $15. Come on guy you give resellers a bad name. What you need to make your mortage payment with these items. $20 for the bag was well worth it.
No it wasn't worth 20. There is a lot of work involved in those low dollar items and multiple listings, missing parts etc...
Nice
Hornby engine / carriage in original box - never gave it a second look - why??
Sold out🤔
As soon as you showed the Indiana Jones LP the theme song immediately started playing in my head 😆
