Every eid in Malaysia is like this. I recommend going to the university of islam malaysia it has alot of foreigners and has a khutbah in English. Or masjid wilaya 😊
There are three islamic university in Malaysia...the most well known is International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) or locally known as Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia located at Gombak funded by OIC and Malaysia government and another is Islamic University of Malaysia (IUM) a private university located at Petaling Jaya which it was once IIUM's Matriculation Centre before they relocated and another is Islamic Science University Malaysia or Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) located at Nilai...The one with lots of foreigners is IIUM, IUM was recently established. The one you mentioned is I believed IIUM, and I am IIUM alumni, graduated on 2010.

Masjid Wilayah is more spacious in Kuala Lumpur on Eid. You get to congregate with more Malaysians although there will no doubt be foreigners. Basically it's a bigger mosque n so it will be more comfortable. I think also it is highly unlikely that you will lose your sandals.
