A couple of tips: 1. Don't try to beat them one at a time. They will mirror each other's moves so it's easier to predict. 2. Save your super for sticky situations. It will save you from a one-hit if timed correctly. 3. Use blaster stance. Your charged shot will knock them out of any unblockable attack. 4. When you get pissed off just walk away. I worked on this fight for a while and had to keep coming back. Trying to fight this while pissed just isn't gonna work
I personally used the blaster stance when fighting them in order to do more while maintaining distance used the dark side when up close to recover ammunition and force metre. It was mainly just a consistent amount of dodging and running away
I do think some of the bosses in the game have wonky hit boxes. It happens too regularly to be a fluke. There were multiple times I'd dodge an attack, be visibly clear, and then Cal would just magically drift 2 feet right into the unblockable attack. It was frustrating.
I did my series inspired by Obi-Wan Kenobi, and deliberately made it Master Difficulty to spite Anakin through the force. 😁As always, keep up the awesome content, Andrew. May the force be with you, always! 🙂
i’m running the game Obi-Wan Kenobi inspired also. It just feels right for some odd reason. 😂 I’m gonna play NG+ Anakin Inspired next. What outfits are you running to make Cal look like Kenobi?
Ambidexterity Perk with Blaster stance. Fire a blaster shot once every few seconds and it buffs your lightsaber attacks for a few seconds, you deal massive amounts of damage very quickly and still have time to retreat/dodge. You end up burning their health bars so fast they rarely have time to use their tongue attacks unless they leap away first to telegraph it.
This was legit way harder than the double rancor challenge for me. I feel like the Rancors are slow enough to remain calm and avoid, but these two are just constantly up your butt.
Both are awful. I'm not sure which is worse but I'm gonna argue the rancor fight is slightly harder because their standard attacks are much more punishing
"this is getting out of hand! now there are two of them!" - the best quote for the two duo boss fights. anyways as others have said, blaster stance helps the most in this battle by doing charged shots when these guys flash red to stop their movements, you can also shoot it while jumping to make an opportunity to put some melee hits in, it's better to finish this fight before getting the dark side special as you can force slow them then regenerate blaster cartridges to max via energizing flurry, like other duo/twin bosses they alternate who/which enemy attacks and will follow up another attack after the other one finishes their chain (helps in monitoring which will attack next, abusing this delay in-between their decision making also helps you survive by not focusing on one at a time, instead opting to shave both of their health bars steadily so you won't end up fighting just one super aggressive one like the first one you've encountered).
I had relatively little issue with them using the blaster stance and dual wield stance. Blaster was great for ranged while the dual wield was great for its attack cancelling block.
Andrew you NEED to upgrade your health, stims, and force meter. You can actually double your maximum amount of health by completing certain challenges, defeating certain enemies, or simply upgrading it through the "survival" part of the skill tree. All of those also applies to when you want to increase the health gained when using stims and/or increase your maximum force meter. Pro tip: Gather 10 priorite shards and buy Doma's mysterious keycard. With it, you can unlock a room in Doma's shop that has one of those gold containers that unlock 1 extra stim slot.
Definitely would recommend using the time stop/darkness ulti ability as often as possible. That is how I beat them using the dual saber stance. I also have a perk setup that is based a lot on my own defense and beating through people's guards.
To be safe from 1-hit kills in general, use the crossguard stance in addition to getting all the health upgrades. To reliably dodge the long-windup unblockables (Oggdo and final boss), try double jump + dash instead of normal dodge so the timing window is wider
Richochet shot blaster stance will stun inturrupt their unblockables and deal decent damage to both of them at the same time. Worked great on jedi master, especially with the perk that bumps up all blaster damage.
They should make a third game where you are constantly Ceres level of mastery of the force plus all of cals abilities and you fight some big galactic war with the Nihil. It would make sense because for apparently no reason the Nihil somehow made it to Tanalor with enough troops to handel jedi so they would make an interesting big bad and it would be a great opportunity to shed light on the unexplored regions lore
You need to use dark side slow 3 times to win. (and it'll only happen if you can keep them apart.) I did it on grandmaster. The Dark side is/was added to the game as a mechanic for a reason. I normally start out by striking Normal O.B. with my lightsaber throw and keep your distance from spawn of O.B. The Tongue only goes half the screen.
To beat The Bogdos use Double Bladed lightsaber Stance and spam L1 plus square attack and heal to spam again you will die but eventually you will win.(Double Bladed Saber Stance's L1 plus Square attack makes Cal go through foes when attacking also it does a lot of Damage) (Have The L1 plus Square upgrade for The Double Bladed Saber Stance and The BD-1 Friendship upgrade that heals both health and force to do this!)Have a Great Day Andrew.
Dexterity Perk definitely helps with these fauna bosses (it increases lightsaber throw damage) Plus, if you use double-blade you can get me consistent hits off
I basically just used standard one blade lightsaber, waited for one of them to attack dodged and hit back once, rinse and repeat until dead. Highly recommend getting atleast eight healing pods before hand or 12 if you're really struggling
I had fun beating these two on story mode 😂😂 the literal rest of the game on grand master is pie compared to this one fight on it, nearly drove myself mad
I beat these guys one grandmaster with the strat of constantly jumping and dashing while throwing the double lightsabers use blaster stance to start off the fight, focus on one of them (I recommend spawn of ogdo) and make sure you have the perk that refills force Meter that you buy off Zee so you don’t have to get into close quarters! Hope this helps 😃
A "glitch" i found was if you slow time when you get caught by the ogdo bogdo tounge you cancel it out and you slow time so save the slow until you get caught by the tounge
Dude, you really need to explore the worlds and collect as many upgrades as possible. Health, perks, stims, use skill points, everything. It's the only way I survived on Jedi Padawan. And don't be afraid to use the Dark Side. In that interval, just spam attacking on a single opponent. Don't try to take on both at once
I want to see the Let Me Solo Her variety gamer for this fight. Wearing a pink poncho, a mullet, the handlebar mustache, with a weird @$$ looking light saber doing this fight without taking a hit. 🤣
This wasn't my most hated fight. So far my most hated fight was 2 Gorocco's in the jedi temple during the story on Jedi Master. Btw use the pistol and you can stun them. Ricochet shot and dual sabers. I haven't fought an Oggdo on Jedi Master yet though I will admit that.

@Mikegamer50 not in this game you can't I'm afraid ( I tried)

It seems Oggdo's powers have doubled since they last met.
Twice the pride, double the fall
twice the frogs double the *pain*
charged pistol shot -> frog stunned -> three sword strikes -> retreat -> repeat
done on Master Jedi
Do we need to buy the stun shot upgrade from Caij?
Thank you
@@FreezeFun Nope, charged shot is enough. It still took me 10 tries but it is way easier.
Actually, stun shot is the only Blaster shot that DOESN'T work.

Their's a Force Tear on Coruscant Andrew!

Experiment with the other saber stances. I seriously think it would help.
I'm pretty sure you can use force pull when they use the tongue attack to cut it off, that should stop you suffering from their tongue attacks!
U defo could in jfo I'm not sure in js
not that im aware of, but I know you can stun the rancor with a bone or rock to the mouth.
You can't. I tried so many times. I think the tongue attack is bugged. Even the hit box for it is wonky.

A good tip try to avoid doing the mid air dash off of one jump their tracking is almost perfect. Also the slow will stop them if your close enough
What I think when Bombastic says totally in this video, toad-ally
