If you're playing on PC, the exclusive keyblades for PC (Elemental Encoder on Epic and Dead of Night on Steam) can get you an additional Lucky Strike, because not only do they have it as an ability on the keyblade itself, but their transformation is Second Form, which grants you ad additional Lucky Strike while form changed
Just wanted to say thank you. This is my second time trying to platinum the game, I gave up after I lost all my saves and without your videos I'd have given up ages ago...
On top of Jack sparrow, most world companions have a lucky strike ability (around 1 character per world). I believe you can get multiple lucky strikes from medals.
Also, from what I know of KH3 Modding, you can only stack 3 of the same ability from any of these 3 sources, weapons, equipment/accessories, and native abilities. So up to 9 on a single party member. Interesting how they programmed a hard limit on something that's impossible to pass in an unmodded game. Best way to stack lucky strike is to load out your party members with lucky strike gear, as they'll apply the ability.
For the extra drop chance from lucky strike, do you simply add the base drop percentage with 1+.3x? Example being a base drop percentage of 8 with 5 lucky strikes active would result in a drop percentage of10.5?

Some tips for Verum Rex: Keep your streak going. If your streak ends before you hit 4.5mil then retry. You MAY make it with 4mil but it's not a safe threshold from my experience. This is assuming you're staying in one robot for the extra 2mil. If you aren't I'd say 6.5mil. Unless you want to try to kill the boss without getting hit by him for that extra 3mil. To kill the boss without getting hit: Immediately break the glass. Lure him to the shock zone and keep your distance, shooting your gun. Try to keep him on the outer edge of the shock zone and lure him around it while keeping him inside it, blowing up the sphere traps he gets near along the way. Being sure to dodge his lasers with square. It's been a fairly reliable method for me. Those double arrows that flash on the map are extra robots to take control of, NOT enemies. Took me a while to put that together. Go for the red and golden arrows (your enemies) and plan your next step on who to kill next. Don't forget your special move to take out the beefier targets. If you can spare the seconds between kills, lure the tougher targets to the explosives before setting them off. Keep the glass broken if at all possible. Shoot the glass when you have some breathing room between kills. A lot of times I would be off killing something else and a ring of enemies would spawn on the now broken glass and immediately fall to the shock zone. Then you can just take your time killing a couple that are down there as necessary to keep your streak going, until the shock trap goes off. Sometimes the shock trap would save my streak if I was unlucky too. I personally wouldn't bother with the tiny robots. They have a lot of health and take more than one trap to kill off. If you happen to kill it, great. But I wouldn't actively aim for it. You risk ending your streak. As far as I can tell you want to aim for 10mil points by the end or higher to get A rank. This is possible even before the boss arrives if you keep your streak going and use traps efficiently. Then by that point you can just not die and you got it.

For all yall in the comments: junior medals and star medals cannot have Lucky Strike on them. Master Medals from Verum Rex are the only option

1:36 Elemental Encoder on PC version also has access to Lucky Strike. Plus it specializes more in balance, so go ham with magic.

Some tips for Verum Rex:
