Elsevier and Digital Commons commitment to supporting libraries with accessibility initiatives
In this session, Jean Ducrot, a senior member of Elsevier's digital accessibility team, shared details about Elsevier's long history of collaborating with librarians worldwide on accessibility. He discussed how his team worked closely not only with product teams across Elsevier but also with many of its portfolio companies' product teams, such as Digital Commons, and how these relationships were mutually beneficial. Jean also addressed recent changes to Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and their impact on librarians, as well as provided insights to help attendees better prepare for the challenges ahead.
