one question i have mam, if registers are of 16bit size in 8086 and i guess same register and memory location can be used interchangeably then why memory location holds only 1byte of data and for doing any arithmetic or logical operation on 16bit registers we need two memory location data instead of one?
Memory structure is fixed, it is externally connected. Memory can be connected to various microprocessors. It doesn't depend on whether you are connecting to 8o85 or 8086 or any other
Ma'am I have a doubt... Is this logical AND is Used for adding each bit in a byte/word with the corresponding bit in another byte/word and for logical OR is used for multiplication ,ma'am how this is possible ?
Ma'am I had seen in some websites that logical AND is used for adding and logical OR is for multiplication in 8086 instruction set ,so ma'am is it any logic about this or it is incorrect?

No AND and OR are logical operations used in Boolean algebra.

@@YuvrajSingh-sg6fu you can say AND behave like multiplication and or like addition, still 1+1=10 and 1OR1=1. This is difference in addition and OR.
And AND exactly behave like multiplication.
12:29 in the last line LHS why it is OOFO ..is it the addition of those two in the RHS?
00F0 is data already available in pointed memory location. It can be anything. 00f0 taken as example
It should be 5BF0 in place of FOFO on LHS. 👍 Good question
