What is it with netherrealm and making ice characters the most annoying to fight against
Ice IRL can be pretty shitty and annoying so in a way, it makes perfect sense.
Because ICE is a form of Rock. So...you know...
I would say Jax, Liu Kang, and Jade are more annoying to play against in MK11 than Sub-Zero.
Naturally ice usually is tied to limiting movement, and people usually don’t like feeling like their movement sucks
I liked it once in Super Mario galaxy as skating was extremely fun

Man killer frost what a nightmare she was for the "yolo" slide into. Makes me grateful for Sub-Zero's well... only slightly...
You mention that the command grab was just icing on the cake but I'd argue it's what her entire gameplay revolved around seeing as though she was a vortex character; meter burn grab restand allowed her to start her vortex between f3 and b1 and the combo would then lead to another restand rinse and repeat
She was criminally Underrated in the ij1 days.
True. Very few people actually picked KF and even fewer were actually good with her. The few good KF players I met online bested me most of the time.
She was my main and I made too many mfs rage quit with her. I was salty she wasn't on IJ2.

Ah yes the 6 frames D1 of Geras that jails into everthing he does (Jk back dash after 212 and you can punish it) . I do think that if any, MK11 has the most viable D1s in the hole series since throws are such a big deal in Mortal Kombat 11.

Killer Frost was my main in IJ. She was so fun to use. I also played Captain Cold in IJ2. Maybe I just like ice characters.

As a Sub-Zero main throughout all NRS games, this has always bothered me.
Skarlet in mk9 had a slide that had a 50/50 MIX-UP overhead or low slide.
I always thought that reptile armor slide was od thanks for teaching me how od frost slide is

Went to rewatch this vid and reminds me to say one thing about the slide.
The only way the Frost could be punished for the slide is with a certain character, that being Batman and his trait. His trait actually can punish moves that are barely minus such as -2 or even possible for -1, so if you were B-man and Frost did here slide, that trait can punish her for a full combo

Rattle snake slide amplify and throw on the acid huge damage, no need for a krushing blow not to mention you can mix up with boot drop(Erron black)

Captain cold in injustice 2 is totally slept on after he got buffed in the final patch I honestly believe he's a top 5 character his main strings are a high that's plus 2 and a mid that's 0 on block he also has a six frame down one so it's like your opponent never gets to take their turn back he also has TONS of set play options and and his resets bag tons of damage
What about Poison Ivy’s? She had the same thing in Injustice 2 and it comboed as well
It's basically Killer Frost's move they just recycled it

Frost in mk11s icequake air slide is dope
I grabbed IJ2 ten months after release and never really understood the meta. Like the game plan, I never got it. I wonder if I would’ve picked it up if I’d played it as long as I’d played MK9 or MK11.
I wish frost got a low special she has so many overhead enders, ice quake should be a grounded side too lol
