The start of each episode I still love Rosie's full on celebration when completing stormy ascent. I was proper happy for her when she did it and it was full on exciting to watch with it being so close.
I started watching the stormy ascent challenge on my own and by the end my whole family was watching and cheering. We all lost the plot when Rosie managed it on the last life. Feel good moment of 2019!
Rob's presentation of the retainer thing at 2:50 was flat out hilarious. For three years in a row now you guys have brought me laughter and all around good times during the Christmas season, thank you so much Access team, here's to many more! (I'll never forget Christmas Snake!)
Shes a gamer at heart, journalist second. Where as Dave/Nath I feel like were writers/journalist first then, play select games in there private time. So there knowledge is really poor.
Rosie doesn't have kids & less responsibilities, so more time to play. Also as others have said she's a gamer first & learning journalism, where as the guys are journalists that produce content about games. They are smart to understand their weaknesses & hire Rosie & Elle, that's good business sense.
Also Rosie grew up with a brother who produced TH-cam videos about games! He's quite the gamer too. So I'm sure growing up and played was exposed to tons
I love how the intro started like a tease of what's to come and now it gives me warm memories of the previous episodes the clips come from. That's one thing I've weirdly enjoyed from this series as its gone along. I don't want this to end, I hope there's some sort of best bits after.
I'm really enjoying this series and I really appreciate all the time and effort which has gone into producing this! One thing that might be worth considering for any recreations of this is a hardcore version, or a double-or-nothing version where if you think you can do a challenge faster, you can take on a new challenge to double or increase your reward. But if you fail, then you would sacrifice some of what you've already earned. Alternatively, you could have a hidden objective which, when completed allows a smaller additional reward. But only highlight this after the challenge has been completed.
I know but Rob being Rob just brings his own adorable flavour of villainy to it. Especially with the mouth piece, i can just imagine him sitting in his evil island volcano lair scheming infront of a wall of monitors, softly muttering to himself.
Rosie and Elle were good choices for this. They both did excellent! Cant wait for the rest of the episodes. :) This series really helped my depression. Thank you, PS Access Team.
me thinks Mr. Robert S. Pearson slowly but surely realises that he'll actually need to put in some serious effort with the final race, when the team of brave challengers finally reach him~

For 2020, have you thought about doing a Playstation Access Taskamster? The 5 of you are the contestants Dan plays little Alex Horne and you get a super secet special guest (lets be honest - its Holly) to play the Taskmaster. All gaming based challenges like Fastest to 3 consecutive wins on Rocket League. First to make a block of Diamond in Minecraft. Best score in 1 attempt on Space invaders. Fastest lap on F1 2020/Gran Turismo (5 practice laps which don't count no matter how good then 1 shot qualy) and so on...
I have enjoyed every episode of this series. I would expect no less from these guys. They are the perfect mix of personalities that make their videos wonderfully entertaining!
Rob is absolutely brilliant at designing these games. The level selection, time limits and added challenges are all perfect. I think the character guessing one maybe should have been 4 out of 6. That one was really tough. What a great series! Edit: am I the only one that desperately wants one of those baubles of their own?
Come on Rob, after that fantastic showing I think it's time to bust out the devious Final Fantasy challenge we all know you've prepared to screw them over.
