So fun to watch your videos and see the fun and excitement. I have always liked Thrift Shopping. I love a good bargain and the idea of recycling clothes instead of throwing them away. When I was living in Hollywood the Thrift shopping was amazing.
The prices in that store is crazy! You still managed to find some cute things, especially the silk blouse. I always pick up silk items when I run across them. It was smart to start with this store, so,you don't blow your budget right away. We recently went to Las Vegas, and hit up two stores. One was having an .88 cent sale, and the other was $2.00 for certain items. I had to restrain myself, so it could all fit in our luggage. I hope to thrift in every city I visit.
Yes! Totally agree! I try to visit the Outlet type stores first because you get so much for your money that it's like calibrating how much you want to spend on pieces later in the trip. And something so fun about thrifting in new places, right? You get me.
oh and for context on the Family Thrift Outlets. They only bring in new things once a week wednesdays after the 25 cent sale. The stuff there are stuff that didn't sell at their regular thrift stores. And the shoes are 25 cents!
We have the same store in Dallas, Texas...the stuff behind the plastic is the new stuff they have received for the start of their week, Thursday $2.00 per item day. You can't shop it until Thursday. Shoes are the same price. Our store has shoes until they are gone.

I look forward to going out of state and thrifting. I feel everything is picked and thrown on floors. So sad they never have enough employees to work and keep up stores and cashier and keep clean.
