@@foracitywithoutgreen I went to their official website to ask why it got discontinued and to my surprise there were so many clients asking the same. In some of their answers they say to consider their red palm oil line. Hope this helps sis ❤️
Yora Odili is your hair is fine it is thin and easily breaks when it’s tugged on. When it is coarse it is thick and when you tug on it, it fights back and stays attached 😂
Just one thing to clarify :P ( low-po pun intended) Oils aren't humectants but emollients. They won't attract moisture like humectants do, but they will help retain moisture by covering the hair with a hydrophobic layer (mostly the oils that tend to coat instead of absorb into the hair, penetrating oils will absorb into the hair and are good at protecting against hygral fatigue - which oils coat/penetrate or do both depends on the fatty acid profile)
This is unrelated but natural hair products have whole paragraphs and thesis statements for names, make me feel like I’m reading a book😂😂😂 but this was really good information Thank you and I know your hair about to be poppin ✨
If it talks about "strength", "breakage", "restore" or "replenish" there's probably protein in it. So check your ingredients. We do need some protein but have to balance it with moisture. Hey girl I honestly just found you’re page it’s amazing, so many great tips! Also I have a few questions, how many times should we deep condition ? Once a month or like every week ? I use Mayo, honey and egg for that. I don’t want to have protein overload. Also i use this aryuvedic hair oil called Kesh King, is aryuvedic oils ie Amla and the rest good for low porosity hair? I just applied it on my hair a week ago I wanna be sure if it’s fit for my low porosity hair. Pls reply back
Any suggestions for someone w nut allergies who needs products like this? Can’t do shea, jojoba, almond, etc. Coconut oil is ok, but doesn’t work out (greasy hair). Sighhh. Everything that works well for people seem to have some kind of nut product. 😕
I wash my hair with warm water but while styling my hair and the water in my hair starts to get cold ....if that makes sense how do I fix that do I keep wetting it ?
My hair is extreeemely protein sensitive. No honey, no avacado, eggs, rice, soy, etc. Plus it's always dry what a struggle 😩 I've used half of the products you have and they left my hair dry and tangled 😭 I just don't understand my hair. I am going to try the tgin mask.
If your hair is that low porosity the tgin mask won't help either because it either has protein or aloe Vera...don't remember which. My natural hair was like that. Here are some products that will be good for you : kinky curly knot today, s curl no drip leave in and wave niveau finishing lotion. these have no protein and no aloe Vera. You can also try to balance your porosity by lifting the cuticle slightly with a permanent black dye. Do not use a light colour as this will bleach and weaken your hair. Goodluck!
Have you looked at using marshmallow root, oats or irish moss? I am low porosity. My hair adores avocadoes and honey. But like you no rice water, wheat protein, yogurt, henna, aloe vera,African black soap, coconut oil etc etc. Camille rose milk is life! Also pantene gold moisture milk is very good leave in. I am experimenting with irish moss at the moment and it's not bad. When I take out my plaits, the root is still moist.

It’s been 6 months please come back already
My top & crown r low, my sides & back r high porosity. IDK what to do
