This is great stuff all around. The stories are engaging and the characters work well in them. It's a shame that Kokona won't have this kind of storyline in the end, but I guess she earned her relative peace with all this era of development.

I think this is the type of game that YanDev was always striving to make. The chilling atmosphere, the scandalous and darkly realistic setting and all the crazy storytelling! To show such a seemingly soft and cheerful game in this light is what makes yandere simulator such an amazing game..! I'm rewatching this in 2022 and I still love it! hope to see more amazing films like these soo, Yandev!
This was so intense, I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen. The voice acting, the atmosphere, Ayano’s uncannily calm tone, the dialogue, all perfect. I especially adore the art for this concept.

I like to imagine (unless it’s actually what happened) that Ayano was able to convince Musume into provoking Kokona when she kidnapped her, and that she would be safe if she did. I don’t really think Musume is actually that stupid to try and provoke Kokona with full knowledge of how much danger she’s in.
That’s the thing, she’s not, she has no idea Kokona has a bat, she doesn’t understand the situation she’s in, pain or what people will do in certain situations because she’s been sheltered. She most likely thought her words would make Kokona cry then daddy would come solve everything, Kokona would be arrested and worse things would happen to her father, all while she returns to her day to day activities. Tbf, Musume’s father is a very powerful person, and she is fully aware of this. To me, given that she already antagonises/harms other openly (when she writes nasty things on students desks and hits the with blackboard cleaners) she probably no one would hurt/stand up to her due to her fathers reputation, money and influence. If you look at Musume’s character description on the yandere sim homepage, it’s highlighted that the school is aware of her behaviour but doesn’t do anything due to her father. Given all of this context, I *think* that’s what this depiction of Musume was leaning into; her being over confident in her fathers influence that no one would dare *actually* harm her or push back against her cruelty
Tbh, I wouldn't blame Kokona for killing her, even if it was technically because of Ayano. The amount of trash Musume spat at Kokona was awful and something that she deserved. Tbh, this is actually my favorite death.

Don't forget she's also blindfolded so even if said kidnapper does want to harm you they have decided that they want you alive and to possibly be able to leave since they don't want their face known
Coming back to this video, I have a thought. If Yandere-Chan drives all of her rivals to murder, and they all mention her name to the police, would they get suspicious and do deep interrogation?
That probably would trigger one especial ending. Yandere dev said that the different endings it depends on the ways you choose to eliminate each rival.
It would make sense if they did get suspicious. Yandere Dev has mentioned before that the ending to the game depends on how you eliminate your rivals, how often you choose certain elimination methods, and senpai's sanity. I would assume if you choose to eliminate every rival by driving them to murder, the ending would involve the police being extremely suspicious of you and possibly an investigation.
I feel really bad for Kokona tho, she probably went through a lot of grief losing her mom and on top of that her dad is barely making any money to pay off the debt he owes so Kokona can go to school and she has to do all the dirty favors just so she could help her dad.

Wow, whoever voiced Kokona is really talented. I can hear the emotions in her voice. Same with Musume's, she sounds so spoiled which fits in this video. As for Yandere-chan, she sounds evil yet emotionless (kind of) but considering that that's how she is, it fits her very well, too!
Watching this right after the alternate ending on YanDev's channel is certainly something. Yes, that would make this a hindsight view of this. I feel that this fits the characters more.
Her father can't pay a lawyer, so she'll probably end up with a public defender who pushes Kokona to plead guilty to such a hopeless case. She'll be charged as an adult and likely get the full 20 years. Musume's father will probably not be forgiving any of that debt, and might use his criminal connections to ensure Kokone's jailtime is far less pleasant than it would have otherwise been. And the knowledge his daughter is a child prostitute and murderer might send Kokone's father over the edge. Seems to me that Kokone will pay for the life she took with one she cherished.
Wow, Ayano is so messed up. Kokona is so nice, and gives all her money she earns so her father could get out of dept. This is so messed up, but its so amazing. This is played so well, and animated amazingly. I love this so much and I keep watching it over and over, I couldn't believe someone could be capable of so much harm like Ayano, and Kokona.
Watching this in 2024, I have a few things to say: 1. Musume and Kokna's VA is perfect 2. The art is beautiful 3. The little details are so good to find out I don't know why this isn't in the game, since this way of elimination is pure bliss. Kokona should be an extra week similar to the Amai challenge.

I'm glad this was made. I feel like some people forget that Yandere Chan isn't a "cute" character. She's a manipulator who targets the naive and mentally weak to drive them to commit sinister acts for her own advantage. It's a great story, but sadly some people like to romanticize these types of things. I would really hate for this to turn into another "I murdered my friend because of creepypasta" kind of scenario.
Very true - I think that the misconception of Ayano being a "poor, unloved schoolgirl" is beyond wrong. Do I feel bad for her? I'd say I feel pity: the condition she has been born with is not her fault, and her mother largely influenced her thoughts regarding it. But Ayano is in no way innocent. She's terrifying; an enraged, cold-blooded monster hidden within the body of an innocent looking youth. And, in my opinion, that's the beauty of the game. Trying to alter that to fit romantic scenarios just kind of ruins what her character is *supposed* to be.
At about 5:41, you can see something in Ayano’s eyes and her smile. She knows her plan worked perfectly. When one domino falls, the rest do too. All they need is a little push.

The reazon for YandereDev to make her this way was because curles represent eleganse a and purple royalty. That probably would trigger one especial ending. Yandere dev said that the different endings it depends on the ways you choose to eliminate each rival.

It would make sense if they did get suspicious. Yandere Dev has mentioned before that the ending to the game depends on how you eliminate your rivals, how often you choose certain elimination methods, and senpai's sanity. I would assume if you choose to eliminate every rival by driving them to murder, the ending would involve the police being extremely suspicious of you and possibly an investigation.
I feel really bad for Kokona tho, she probably went through a lot of grief losing her mom and on top of that her dad is barely making any money to pay off the debt he owes so Kokona can go to school and she has to do all the dirty favors just so she could help her dad.
She's really well written character and I wish she was more utilized

Kokona’s father is gonna be in a lot more debt now…
Her father can't pay a lawyer, so she'll probably end up with a public defender who pushes Kokona to plead guilty to such a hopeless case. She'll be charged as an adult and likely get the full 20 years. Musume's father will probably not be forgiving any of that debt, and might use his criminal connections to ensure Kokone's jailtime is far less pleasant than it would have otherwise been. And the knowledge his daughter is a child prostitute and murderer might send Kokone's father over the edge.
Seems to me that Kokone will pay for the life she took with one she cherished.

Watching this in 2024, I have a few things to say:
1. Musume and Kokna's VA is perfect
2. The art is beautiful
3. The little details are so good to find out
I don't know why this isn't in the game, since this way of elimination is pure bliss. Kokona should be an extra week similar to the Amai challenge.

I'm glad this was made. I feel like some people forget that Yandere Chan isn't a "cute" character. She's a manipulator who targets the naive and mentally weak to drive them to commit sinister acts for her own advantage. It's a great story, but sadly some people like to romanticize these types of things. I would really hate for this to turn into another "I murdered my friend because of creepypasta" kind of scenario.
Very true - I think that the misconception of Ayano being a "poor, unloved schoolgirl" is beyond wrong. Do I feel bad for her? I'd say I feel pity: the condition she has been born with is not her fault, and her mother largely influenced her thoughts regarding it. But Ayano is in no way innocent. She's terrifying; an enraged, cold-blooded monster hidden within the body of an innocent looking youth. And, in my opinion, that's the beauty of the game. Trying to alter that to fit romantic scenarios just kind of ruins what her character is *supposed* to be.

I think Yandere-Chan must be one of the most intelligent students in Akademi. I mean , she thinks at everything and organizes the events very quickly.
