I love Shattered Roxy in this because it's literally just 'I can't see you either' in gameplay form.
But, at the very least, now Vanny has as much screen time as everyone else.
It's like The Phantom in the game It Steals. Ehich I gotta say, is still one of the best-written opening one-liners I've ever seen, both terrifying, yet perfectly summarizing the mechanics of the game.

Somehow, putting an endoskeleton texture over Freddy creates an incredibly cool design. Frendo should be canon.

Something about the glamrock endoskeletons make them look so, realistic. They don't have any teeth on the endoskeleton jaw. The jaw is just a piece of metal.

So what did we learn?
That it's easier to beat this game if all enemies are invisible (tricky) than to beat this game without encountering any glitches (impossible).
As terrifying as invisible enemies is, I think it’s scarier to see bits and pieces of them in midair, like Chica’s beak. Stuff of nightmares honestly

This would’ve been a blessing for the “glitchless” run
imagine a full horror game like this, where you literally cant see the enemy and have to function entirely on sound and the occasional thrown object. I'm sure something like that exists already
One of the game modes in It Steals is basically this, except the monster becomes visible when you're being chased (it cannot see you either)
FNAF 4 in a nutshell
The Hidden. I believe it's a Counterstrike fan mode? Not sure, but I watched SeaNanners play it 11 years ago. One person is an invisible monster, the other players have to shoot them before they get murdered. I feel like Dead by Daylight has some similar killers too...maybe not invisible all the time tho...Freddy Krueger's kind of that I guess? Phasmophobia is also essentially this.

@@PointsofDataBut in all of those examples, they have some visibility (The Hidden has what is essentially the heat waves above a hot surface that players can see, Freddy Krueger in DbD becomes visible when you fall asleep iirc, and in Phasmophobia, the ghost will occasionally flicker in and out, alongside items made to make them visible)
At the start of part 2, just had Backseat read a message about how terrifying the game is, and I think this demonstrates a bit thing I've thought about with the FNaF series. A big part of the original games was that they were super scary BECAUSE you don't know where everyone is at all times. The fact that you can see the animatronics wandering around and chasing you in base-game SB actually makes it LESS scary. With this, the fact you don't know where everyone is makes the game SO MUCH MORE TERRIFYING.
Edit: The most terrifying thing would be this mod, except when you get caught their models pop back in for the jumpscares. That would be HORRIBLE.
I've always wished SB was super dark and the bots having glowing red pupils (the ones from the trailer), that visual queue and their sound queues would make it a lot more spoops
security breach really was never made to be a horror game and you can tell from a lot of their design decisions.
Another thing that makes the original scarier is the inability to move. In SB, if you see an animatronic you can just run the other way and hide which you can't do in the other games.
I also think making it so you can only see them on cams would give them usability
@@duckcatthequrugosk5504 It could be their glowing pupils (s.t.a.f.f. bots and V.a.n.n.i.'s eyes too), Vanassa's and s.t.a.f.f. bots' flashlight, a couple dim lights, and your own flashlight (except for daytime daycare). Your (multimode) flashlight would work most of the time but would need to be shut off for sometimes from 14-21 seconds.

You know, I think it speaks to the wholesomeness of the FNAF Fandom that it has essentially divided into two camps on Security Breach.
The first camp asks "Can we fix this and make it better?"
The second asks "Can we break this even further?"
But no matter which side you ask, they do it for the same reason: they love the game and the franchise. There is something incredibly sweet about that.

We just watched Backseat going insane for 38 minutes playing some "Security Breach" which was never realesed because the animatronics were never finnished and put in the game. He is 100% sure he was being chased by animatronics all the time, even seems to see them, but the only thing chasing him was his own madness.
If anyone wants to know what it's like to have a panic disorder, this is it. This perfectly describes the level of terror you feel. There are ROBOTS. but you CANT SEE THEM. But you know they're THERE.

As someone who likes watching fnaf stuff but dislikes loud jumpscares with no warning, I appreciate that the jumpscare sounds are lowered in your videos; still a bit startling, obviously, but doesn't make my whole body go into fight-or-flight
It helps that SB's jumpscare sound is much quieter than in previous games, even if you put it at max volume in the settings
I love the detail whenever you retry a section, you added a subtle glitchy retry screen!
Thanks! Yeah sometimes cutting to earlier parts of the game was a bit confusing, the graphic helped make things more clear when I was going backwards due to a reset!

This just goes to show that this game would be much scarier if all the lights were turned off and you only had a flashlight with limited power.
A boy comes to a haunted pizzaplex, but only one of the ghosts is friendly. The goal? Get out. The remains of freddy's body are in parts and service, and if you add a bit of frendo-shaped trash in his resting place, his ghost becomes stronger. If you destroy the other animatronics' resting places, they become weaker. Once you have completely restored freddy's body, you have an ultra-powerful ghost by your side.
It’s a small thing but I wanna say thank you to backseat for always including the music sources in the bottom left for his videos. It’s so appreciated when I’m wracking my brain for where I’ve heard something before or for discovering new bangers!
Same thing happened to me. I was frozen half way thru a section going .... gerudo...? And then reset to the beginning of the section to make sure I wasn't crazy

Oh my god of COURSE giga monty is the only visible enemy. He cannot be contained by any means, even by mods. He's far too powerful and cannot be stopped

Can I just say the invisible endos with the floating red eyes really reminded me of FNAF AR. Honestly this whole thing was pretty much a "What if Security Breach kept the invisible animatronics from AR ? " run.
Early on I was thinking this mod could make the "don't see a single glitch" run easier, but then you got to the first Parts & Service section and I remembered you were playing Security Breach.
Y'know, given that nine or so children died in the Pizzaplex, the place should really be more haunted than it is now.
I love how the modder themselves was like “Yeah Fazer Blast is literally impossible” and Backseat was just like “nuh uh”

Fun fact- if you fredoor Roxy and continously trigger her, she'll stay put while afton tries to corrupt freddy (it works even while he's being hijacked) makes sure to jump a couple of times, run over to the right button, and go back to Roxy. This keeps the blob, Monty, and chica from spawning. However 1/10 chance she'll run back to the hallway if you press aftons button. It's how I beat the afton fight
I’m assuming this is for other commenters, seeing as I believe he used that in several other challenge runs
I assume he uses the screech in this because Roxy is fast, and your only indicator of which hallway she is in is if you catch her door opening in time to fredoor her, which would be a bit more difficult
@@hitthere7722 yeah it wasn't for backseat. I saw a comment complaining about the fight being hard and "broken" so since I was already testing it I tried to make it easier for people not getting it. I believe it still works

I think giga monty being visible makes him more scary than the invisible animatronics. He is so powerful that even modding him out is not possible. He can't be stopped!

Side note, not sure how this would work but if the animatronics somehow only turned visible when they jumpscared you it would be even more horrifying.

Ngl, on paper the afton boss fight sounds freaking BRILLIANT! The mechanics sound fun and skill based. The problem is that they don't properly communicate how you're meant to deal with any of the threats. :p
