- Happy Howloween, everyone! This year, Oliver (aka Barkbeard) got dressed up in his pirate costume to do a spooky treasure hunt! Watch as he encounters scary skeletons and spiders and tracks down all of the hidden treats with his amazing nose!

Oliver as barkbeard was adoreable! Funny how he was only scared of the human 💀 skeleton. Pearl the boston is a pink 🐷 tonight. Hondo the beagle is suppose to be a 🎃. Hondo hates his pumpkin jacket and hat😂.

He is 'hunting' too, but basically just for extra and special treats. ...
He definitely loves to be in the middle of all the actions and adventures, his family provides - first of all for him.

Have you ever thought about getting Oliver a little beagle brother? He’s at the perfect age for that now. Believe it or not, two beagles is easier than having one. They keep each other company, the puppy will learn much easier and faster from Oliver, and it will keep Oliver stay healthy and active as he gets older. I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. The Beagle Boys. They’re great dogs. Little things like watching them get the zoomies together and chasing each other through the house is so heartwarming. I’ll always have 2 beagles. They’re good for each other, and as sad as it is to think about, it makes it a little easier when one passes away. Part of them will live on in the other.

I liked the opening with Oliver standing in the doorway and the spooky music. Oliver was funny trying to keep his Barkbeard hat on -- like last year. He was very cautious with the strange creatures even if they offered treats. But as usual, Oliver wins, gets the treats, and is his usual cute self. Happy Halloween! 🎃 🏴☠ BUT ♥ 🐶Oliver always!

We used to play a game like this with our beagle when he was still alive. When he’d go out, somebody would hide a treat, and then that person would let him sniff their hand when he came back in and off he’d go.
