Hey guys! My latest weekly warm vendor wax empties. Thanks for being with me here. 🫶🏻
🗺️ where my warmers are at:
🌱Living Room: 2 24-Watt Warmer, 1 25-watt Scentsy Warmer, 1 20-watt warmer (patriot brand from wal-greens)
🧽Kitchen: 5 Scentsy Warmers - 1-20 watt and 4- 25 watt
🛁Bathroom: pink zebra 17-watt warmer
💐Bedroom : 2 Scentsy warmers, 1 40-watt edison bulb and 1 25-watt warmer and 1 24-watt Ashland hot plate warmer
Daughter's Bedroom - wal - mart warmer (not sure of wattage?), Scentsy 12-watt element warmer
Great empties. I love my crock. I use not only for candles, but also for remaining pieces of wax I have from bags or loaves. Great investment and I have another one in my cart to buy. I'm on a total no buy for the first 6 months of 2025. Also only buying from vendors I know work in my home. I have a few more vendors to buy from for fall and winter and I'm on pause, until I get my collection down. My wax closet overflows 😮 Although Second and Spruce I may make an exception for, because her wax is like crack!

For the candle crock, the amount I put in depends on the vendor and scent. I try not to over think it, but I will do 2-3 cubes from a clam up to 1/3rd of a large loaf. I still get misses, but I find I generally get better performance.

Candle crock best investment anyone can make…. I use for candles , for wax that does not have good throw in regular warmers, if I just have a piece of a loaf left .
thank you for a wonderful empties, you really got through a lot! Thank you for asking the question about Candle crocs also. I’ve been wanting to get one, but I think that I would need at least two for my open concept. I knew as soon as you asked the question that Natalie would have a response for you! I know so many use them and have great success. I haven’t been sure of how much wax to use in them. The comments have been helpful.

Hey, Kim! With RG, it’s hit and miss for me, too, as far as where it throws best. If it’s super strong on cold, I’ll give it a try in my open concept and usually it’s strong on warm. I just recently got a crock, too, so I’m new to it as well.
Ok we will have to compare notes in a month on the crock. 😂🤣😂
I know what you mean about Rose girls, I love her blends but some throw in a wide open space and others do not but they do well in a small room. One of my problems is I like to order two bam bags because usually it takes me one full bag to use in my open concept. nine or 10 warmers usually. Sometimes , if I think a scent will blow the roof off. I do alternating warmers. Sometimes I am wrong and it’s not as strong as I think so I go back and fill the remaining warmers. Usually that helps😄
You know that’s a good idea to toss in more wax if it’s not doing well. I always think it will dilute the scent but not if you catch it early. Rosegirls has me locked in. If something doesn’t do great for me, I’ll try again and add another cube

I either crock a candle that I want to get through, or I combine a bunch of wax that go well together and put them in the crock. But I find my crock doesn't perform in large spaces but in smaller spaces they really shine

I use my candle crock as a regular warmer- I put a minimum of 2 ounces in it up to about 4 ounces of wax. I’m sure I could put more but that’s what I do. If I only have a smaller amount of one scent then I skip the crock and just use my standard warmers. I’ll sometimes put a coordinating scent in the crock but not always. The other thing I use my crock for is if I have something I’m trying to use up I’ll put a big chunk in there.
As far as wax purchases, I’ve been low buying and I do plan on skipping fall scents because I have enough for at least 2 fall seasons. I am skipping some preorders coming up as well.
My fall wax purchasing will be minimal. I have quite a bit from last year. And I really don’t want to carry over much because my scents may have changed by next fall. 🍁🍂🐿️
And awesome on your low buying. I skipped a bunch of pre-orders and RTS this weekend.
I use my crock for older wax and it does perform alot better than normal warmers for alot of vendors. I use both a candle crock and warmers.
I’m going to try some older stuff in there and see how it does!
I’m in the same boat with too much wax and spending way too much. I like a variety and I melt lots of different things, so I don’t have too many favorites. I also know fomo is real and I want to try all the wax. I think my strategy has been just smaller amounts coming in, that way I can get a little of everything. If I buy a one and done like a snap bar, small shape or tile, I feel more accomplished and I get to experience the scent and move to the next. The only exception has been L3 but even with that I’ve toned down, like with loafapooloza I only did 7 loaves and I’ll melt some and then maybe melt that same loaf once every month or every other.
I’m holding strong this weekend and I agree smaller amounts is a great way to go. I’ve almost stopped L3, I think at this point I have a little of everything. What happened to the good ol’ scent shot days?
I use my crocks to supplement, if something needs a hotter stronger throw and occasionally for candles and also i mix samples , scents iin the empty candle jar and crock it. TB does amazing in crock as does many vendors. Older waxes small amounts or a chunk and ,finish off a loaf or something i don't have enough to put in the warmers. I bought my first crock in 2019 and another last year.

I have started keeping my purchases in a binder so that I don't accidentally purchase one that I've tried before and didn't like or that was just OK. I know I've spent a crap ton of money on wax in the last few months and I need to keep track of it somehow.

Hi Kim. Great video. I love Destination Cape Code Coast. You are right it does seem to have an extra note of salt and didn't think about that before and love this one. It's blend is fresh and also not a harsh sea air. I also have Destination: Isle of Sky but haven't warmed it yet Now I want to warm it.😊
I have never tried Teddy Bees: Perfect Storm and it sounds so good. I have been gifted Teddy Bees in the past, but never have made a purchase. It's a company that I have heard such good things about.
I am in the mindset of I love my wax and I am going to enjoy it but THEN I am thinking " Oh my goodness I need to hurry up and get through my wax,"😂. I am just like you. You are not alone.

Thanks for making me feel more human. I think I’m really gonna hone in on my top 3-5 vendors and make some sort of realistic purchasing schedule. TB’s is real easy to figure out because she only restocks 4 times a year. I know DW opens once a month. I don’t buy from DW every month and I won’t need to for awhile.
Yes you’ve mentioned Emma Frost ( Sparkle) before b/c it’s already on my list of things to try 😉

I use scoops in crock too I put a cupcake liner in an empty candle jar and put scoop in it

I can relate 🤑 I just did three preorders this weekend. 😳🫣 but I’m definitely not spending any money for the rest of the month and hopefully August 🤞🏻🤞🏻 I keep a notebook and it really helps. I write down empties and what lasted etc. I need to keep a running list with each vendor so I know what I want to reorder and just try to stick with that. 👍🏻 Happy melting, Kim. 😃

I don’t have a candle crock. I know what they are but every time I hear “ candle crock” the first thing I think of is a “ crockpot” and then I just picture a Wax Stew 😆

I find rose girls to be hit and miss and I stick to the fresh or fruity blends.
Either that or it does medium for me. I guess I’m ok with that since I love the blends
OMG, I just warmed the rest of my bonsai and lemonade that a friend sent me! Obsessed with it. I forgot how much i loved Bonsai.

I feel the same way about being overwhelmed with my wax. I found that I was spending way too much on too many vendors. So, I really sat with what I had for a while, kept track of who and what I was pulling. I then made the decision to limit the number of vendors that I'm buying from. It does mean that I will miss out on some favorites. Super Tarts Yippee Ki Yay (Die Hard) is one of my favorite scents from any vendor. But I don't want one clam every now and again. And I definitely don't want to add random things to my cart to make the order "worth it." I found myself ordering random things just to get my hands on the sporadic clamshell of something I wanted. So, even though I love Super Tarts, I actually left the group. Same with Rose Girls. So many of her scents sound great and I was being tempted every restock, but I was placing these massive orders to "justify" the shipping of maybe one or two things I really wanted.
I ended up picking two vendors that perform really well for me and have a sale schedule and products that I really like. I also have an alternate vendor in case my normal two aren't available/don't have anything I want. I then unfollowed every other vendor. Now if a sale is happening, I don't know until I see a TH-cam video. At first it gave me FOMO, but now I'm back to just enjoying seeing what people got and being content with what I have.
I also feel like every vendor has some version of a popular scent. Almost every vendor has their own spin on Beach Nights or uses Strawberry Poundcake, so I can always find something similar to what I've loved from other vendors. Maybe not spot on, but close and enjoyable enough.
You make some really great points. 1. I agree with cutting vendors down to your favorites. I’ve made it a big point this year to not order from any new vendors. Exception - Second & Spruce. I’m so glad I did because her wax is strong.
2. I totally agree almost every vendor has a version of similar items. Really great point. How many peppermint blends do I need?
I agree with you! The other thing I’m starting to say no to is vendors that require excessive cure times (like a year). That doesn’t work for me. I don’t want to buy scents in 2024 that I can’t use until late 2025. My scent preference might change by then!
That’s a good point as well. I think the year cure time mark is sometimes hype. I used to say it about VCS all the time but I never really tested it.
@@KimHeartsOrganizingI’ve been seeing some people say L3 and Teddy Bee’s should cure for a year. I personally don’t feel like any vendor needs to. It might depend on your home, but I typically do 3-4 months max before I try it unless it’s out of “season”.

Yes girl! I have an old loaf from ST I’m putting in there tomorrow. I’m sure the throw is still good but I don’t love the scent anymore
