I've tried English riding and loved it.
I've tried racing, I loved it.
I tried trick riding, I loved it.
I have tried free riding, and I love it.
But every time I put on that western saddle and run free, it takes me back to when I was four! I grew up around horses, and I am 12 now, I don't think I could give western riding up!
It truly takes you back home!!
Same here. I barrel race this will be my fourth year. From being dead last, getting in an accident that almost ruined riding horses, to being 4th on a horse that has sat for years, 18, a paso fino mustang cross. That runs 19.?? But nothing beats riding in an open field.

I’m an English Rider but I tried Western Riding and I loved it! I am an English Rider at heart everyday I’m with my Horses but Western Riding Just has such a Beautiful sensation that I can’t stop thinking about!

When i started riding i rode western i tried english and now i do both but when ever i throw that western saddle and get on i feel something different i feel free i feel something else i dont know what it is but it just makes me feel different and better

Sometimes when i ride western i see all these people riding english and hating on western and then it makes me feel like i have to ride english. but watching this encourages me to be myself and not listen and do what i love :D

This makes me sad There are organizations that are doing their best to save these beautiful horses! If I lived near(not in Missouri) I would VOLUNTEER my time in anyway I can. I had to sell my beautiful MOON summer after my freshman year. My Grandma & Grandpa got her for me when I was either 4 or 5 so my parents hated her. And when my Uncle-in-law SWINDLED MY GRANDPA( and wasn't my biological but I loved him more) HOMEPLACE which had 2 HUGE PASTURES A LONG SHED WITH Doors ON TOP & BOTTOM ( IF REDONE WOULD OF BEEN A AWESOME STABLE & TAC SHED). BUT MY MOON LIVED THERE AND WHEN GRANDPA Sighed THE DEAD Over WHEN HE GOT THE 1ST PAYMENT OF $100.00(never got another either) the agree was Moon was never to be moved. That lasted 1 months. And that man rode her no horse shoes on the highway 15 minutes to where I lived. I was in 4th grade. So I get how people are so mad on about how badly wild ones are treated cuz your family just cuz of jealously are also. My grandparents treaded me as their only child. I WAS ONLY A CHILD I KNEW NO BETTER TILL I WAS OLDER NOT 4 OR 5. SO BLESS ALL YOU CARING PEOPLE!!
