I drafted this guy despite his unlucky preseason game, and I’m glad i did. He has a lot of potential and has been one of the stronger rookies this season
I like that he's taking it to the basket more instead of waiting at the three point line. He needs to learn when to jump for a block. He's challenging everyone that's why they get so many putbacks. I know that he will learn it over time.
Exactly that dynamite kid i've been following for 3years now. He's attacking more than he used to, i guess he's told so. I don't know him as a 3pt shooter even if i know he's able to. That can explain why he was struggling hard in the beginning and the summer league. I love this kid. Sarr > Risacher .
It's the player development piece as to why he's attacking more. We're seeing it this year with Bilal. Bilal credits it to the coaches being in his ear and trusting him to handle the ball and create. My guess is they are doing similar with Sarr. Both are going to be a problem in this league in a couple of years.
Damn. First thought that came to mind is his game kind of reminds me of KG. His versatility for his size obviously & what he's capable of on both ends of the floor, but I also see a lot of KG just in his movements. Looking forward to watching him figure it out.
He doesn't rebound like KG. He's taller and will probably end up filling out to be bigger than KG. I doubt he develops on offense anywhere near what KG was.
@kennethholmes6787 Time will tell. This kid looks way more impressive than I thought he would this early. KG is on a special tier of hoops royalty for me as a completely biased Wolves die hard since '89. The way Sarr moves just looks so similar to 90's/early 2000's Wolves KG to me. We'll see if he has that competitive fire & dawg in him too. Either way, I'll be watching more Wiz games now.
Young man is going to take his fair share of abuse as he gets used to how to defend in this league, but he's not shying away from the competition and I really like that. You're not going to punk him and that alone is a huge promising sign of someone who is going to work hard to improve his game so he can get back at the competition.
Starr and Coulibaly are still raw but they bring the excitement for sure.
this guy might be the next anthony davis
I see KG but both work for me
Closer to Adebayo than AD tbh
@firefox1234ize Yo, that's exactly what I was thinking. KG has a special place in my Minnesota heart & this kid moves just like him.
Great coach = great development. So glad wes isn't the head anymore. Keefe is creating such a great environment for their development.
Wuj was deadass a terrorist as a coach bruh
All of the one on one moves against Bam are TOUGHHH 🔥
Yoooo! Hi Andrew
Greetings
Yep, it's called learning on the job which is what being a novice at any job is all about.

He is by far the best rookie defensively that’s for sure if he plays offense like today consistently, he is getting ROY.

He should already be considered an elite shot blocker.
