This is great, tysm. Other leaf tutorials required brushing out the cord and I just ain't about that life, haha. Makes em look more like feathers.

This was such a good tutorial! I needed a smaller leaf so I used 1.5mm cord and did 5 rows instead of six. It turned out perfect! I had lots of cord left so I think I could cut each cord 24" instead of 36. Going to try that, next. What I love about this tutorial is that using the same technique, you could create many different sizes of leaves. Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for an excellent DIY on making these leaves/flowers! I have looked at may different various and my frustration increased with each one. Your's on the other hand was clear and easy to follow. I was wondering, my cords ended being much shorter at the finish than yours did. I am using 3mm cotton cord. I wonder why? Also if I want to make smaller leaves can I simply start out with maybe 4 cords rather than 6? Thanks so much

something is wrong I have played it back over and over and at the slower speed . just before you go to the 2 centre ones you have 3 cords on the right then next frame you have 5 and say with the 2 cords in the centre ??

Hi, since I’m just repeating the steps, I cut out the part where I knotted the 4th cord. That’s why there were 3 cords knotted in 1 frame, then 5 cords in the next frame. I hope that this made sense.
