in fairness oz cried because of victor leaving but oz used that emotions in front of sofia to convince his remorsefulness. although sofia don't know, us viewers can clearly see the connection. i think this episode is the strongest clue what is going to happen in the finale.
Shoutout to the girl who helped Vic up with the bliss and didn’t just rip him off like most of Gotham would have. One of the few decent people in series perhaps?😂
All of the sex worker girls in this series seemed like the only ones with a real moral code and brains 😂 (aside from Vic and his people). They stick together FRFR.
This masterpiece is even BETTER rewatching it through various reactions, as in, not just the entertainment from the reactions added, but the ACTING upon further experience!! 😮
It’s hard to feel bad for victor for anything that could happen to him in the future because he’s not dumb and he seen how close penguin has come to death multiple times and he’s had to save him personally twice himself so that should tell him you’re constantly in survival mode and you’re never safe the longer you stay in the life the closer you are to your death.
Yeah. But it is a nice change that they made it his own choice to go back to Oz. They could’ve easily killed off his girlfriend, and made him go back to Oz for help to get revenge.
I know the ladies love lore, but do they know there's a podcast for the show? HBO was running an pod episode every week while the season was running. Very good!
21:39 they always do this in shows like it’s common for people to have full on hallucinations 🤦🏼♂️. Being triggered & having a panic attack is one thing but visuals & audio hallucinations? Only to never be brought back up again feels cheap
You guys need to watch Gotham after this, Penguin pulls a lot of stuff from that show, you’ll find a lot of similarities but also plenty of things that are different that make it unique.
That final scene is so dumb for 2 reasons. 1) why would the maroni’s confront Oz right then & there with in Sofia’s presence? It completely throws away Oz as an asset to them. 2) why do they not even bother to kill Sofia? You have your rival right there and you just run away after one of your guys gets hit by a car? Potential spoiler: The Penguin is a great show but it does this deus ex machina escape bullcrap multiple times. Every time a character gets in a tight situation I’m always excited to see how they write themselves out of it and half the time they just completely cheat and pull these ridiculously unrealistic escapes
That's because he was dealing with the triads. Considering that Oz had previously betrayed Sal, they weren't taking any chances. Also, Sal's wife ain't exactly competent. As for the escape, ya it does happen way too often. It's pretty common in other series that span for several seasons. But since penguin potentially only has 1 season, they stuffed an escape scene in nearly every episode, with finale having 2 of them.
@ I understand why she’d confront him but not in that moment in front of Sofia. There’s no way around that not making sense. Unless you go with your thing about Sal’s wife just being dumb which they didn’t give us any reason to assume
One phenomenon I found interesting is how people seemed to misunderstand just how catastrophic something like what The Riddler did to Gotham in The Batman would be on a city. They bought his nonsense about punishing rich people, but you can't flood a city in every direction and think that the only people who will be impacted are rich people, that's absurd. He didn't care about any of that, he cared about inflicting pain on others for his own satisfaction.
Spoilers: Sofia isn’t that different. She’s a piece of crap who yes was a victim at one point but she used the trauma inflicted on her to justify hurting innocent people just like the riddler
I think the main issue is that, people( by that, I mean the people who watched the batman)thought that Riddler was portrayed as an anti hero in the beginning and that flooding the city was a forced way of making him the villain. Reality is, he was always a bitter guy who was lashing out. I mean, come on, he was going to kill Bruce for basically stealing the spotlight through no fault of his. That alone shows how entitled and delusional he is. He wants the spotlight. So all he cared about was making a statement, he never cared about the consequences. The flood was basically his way of saying, "now I'm flushing out the shit." He must have thought that it would make great headlines. Which is also why him being a streamer made sense. Yeah it's a funny scene, but it also shows how much of an attention wh*re he really is
@ yeah he struck me as the classic I was hurt so I’m gonna hurt the world & thereby make a name for myself guy. Doesn’t need to be much more than that for it to be realistic
On another note, do I think it would have been ballsy to cast Sofia Falcone closer to how she is in the comics (7ft tall, built like a brick shithouse psychopath)? Yes, that would have been interesting but maybe difficult to relate to for some people so I can ride with the many changes they made to her.
I mean, if they wanted to cast someone who looks like Sofia in the comics, they would have cast someone like Nia Jax. But she talks like a valley girl and is a horrible actress. Christin Milioti is intimidating despite her short physique. So I'm glad they went this route
Peak Penguin is giving a long heartfelt monologue about how Sophia should trust him and then betraying her literally ten seconds later
Yup
🤣🤣🤣
He shown her how not to 😂😂😂😂

The moment the Maronis gatecrashed The Penguin and Sofia chat was the moment the series died

@@Wraiven22 some do I've alot of of cases tho they fuck each other over for money
no shii she works for oz
Crazy theory, but could Bliss be a precursor to Scarecrows fear toxin?! 😮🤯
The way Oz maneuvers gives the viewer such anxiety. Reminds me of watching Uncut Gems the first time
The actress who plays Sofia Falcone should win an emmy for this performance. Genuinely great acting.
Ehhhhhhhhh
@@bigpictureguys8415 are you the IGN reviewer who gave this show a 5/10 or something?
@@LouSassol69er I dug the show, it doesn’t have many flaws in my eyes. Solid 7 out of 10 if I had to give it an out of 10 rating.
There’s a good TH-cam breakdown of Colin’s acting in the bathroom scene.
Definitely a top notch performance by him.
youll see next episode why sofia was left... this show is so fucking good i cant stop rewatching it over and over again
It's too much.... too fuck!ng much !
This masterpiece is even BETTER rewatching it through various reactions, as in, not just the entertainment from the reactions added, but the ACTING upon further experience!! 😮
Most intense car weaponization concluding scene since Walter White in Breaking Bad.
The next episode is one of the best episodes of television in my opinion ever....and her gold dress moment 😍
Put down the hyperbole pipe
@bigpictureguys8415 put down the dick
It was definitely top 5

Excited for the ep 4 reaction!!!! (also just reactions to the rest of the show lol). I love that you guys watch the extras at the end too.♥
Love how Oz pulled a "Harry and the Hendersons" on Victor. Master manipulator at work. 🤣🤣🤣
Oooh I can’t wait for yall to see episode 4 lol. Easily my favorite episode

I gotta start this series. Also, y’all need to watch *OZARK*
Definitely Ozark. That’s show is phenomenal
Oh this is when it just starts getting good.
"Im in love with her"
Yeah, you and every other person after watching this show. Welcome to the club buddy. LOL.
take it easy
Cristin milioti so beautiful 😍 amazing show can’t wait for more reactions ❤
You should watch Palm Springs, Cristin Milioti is also in that and steals the whole movie
I can't wait till you get to the next episode

Now, I gotta say! You are not prepared for the next episode rsrsrs nobody was
Johnny has no regard for his life
I like how foreshadowing it is. Johnny never knew when to shut up
Thank God Maple just lets Arianna talk to herself more because all the conversations about herself get annoying sometimes

Watching Oz being a class 1 sociopath and manipulating everyone who listens to him😂
