The Avenue Residences are surprisingly nice for an oldest MOC. I certainly cannot say that about some of my older MOCs. 😳 Seriously though, this is a great building ten years later.

The brick concepts on the apartment buildings is amazing! So creative to use plates and to put those colors together!

I'm totally adding comments here to hopefully boost your channel. But seriously, without question you have the best Lego city I've seen. Everything else it seems is either a display of a bunch of existing sets or super giant replicas of existing buildings that you'd see at Lego land. you both bring the creativity and sense of realism that IMO goes further than even the Lego modulars. (even as good as they are)
I went to school for architecture and I can recognize good design, and you certainly have it. You deserve a bigger channel, more eyes on your content, but you would probably need more regular videos. Because lego is expensive one thing I could recommend is more videos of your design process. Even if you end up doing multiple videos on one building, building things as you go, your thought process, things that work things that dont etc, I'd watch it, your work is so good and I know lots of people world.

Thanks!! I do try to be as unique as possible compared to other layouts. RE: more content - yeah, I figures I would need more content to land more viewers… I am still thinking of a way to do just that with my current plan

This is super high quality stuff. For me it's way more impressive to see something smaller scale built with such accuracy, detail and realism than something huge size wise.

I love this moc man. Please make the instructions and start selling them at rebrickable. It would be and awesome add on to every lego modukar city!

It definitely deserves a place in the city, despite being 10 years old!

Okay I LOVE this modular build. So going to be honest here, I am building my own Asian/Ninjago city loosely inspired off of Tokyo. I wanted to make realistically scaled apartments to the minifigs and I landed on a 12 x 18 modular that is perfect for this. Lo and behold, you are using the same basic dimensions as I am from the exterior. Though my exteriors and floor plans look very different its interesting to see the similarities, especially considering that you go for realism.

i would love to see a more in depth look at the designs you use for furniture and other small interior details. i find myself build more interiors than exteriors and would love some tips. also, great builds.
edit: just watched your most recent upload. guess you already gave me what i was asking for

You should make the Tokyo tower in your city but different colours. Or a landmark instead that would be cool

Had you made the rooms a bit smaller, you could have put 3 to 6 apartments in.

This is a very well made building. I love it. A lot of the times when we make big mocs, we tend to get impatient and want to use bigger pieces and cut corners but you seem to keep with the details.
